Any track restricting you to 97dB is not worthy of this cars presence!

Well this body has been a real hickup as to much wasn't making sense to me, trying to line up certain things just pushed others out. The process of finding the parts that were not quite correct has been made easier by a New Friend who has volunteered his advice and time, the gentleman in question has more than one Original 962, so checking a few crucial dimensions to an original has helped me go in the right direction.... Thankyou Sir your a Gent beerbeer

To that end the one part that was out was the front clip width. It starts out at nearly 2000mm wide in front of the wheels but then for some strange reason tappers in 40mm to where it meets the rest of the body. This part has a inner strengthening piece to it so I assumed it would be correct, oh silly me.. Out with the cutting tools again tomorrow !! and I say again as the drivers door has kind of been flattened out where it curved in at the end and the inner skin was twisted so that was cut to get it back in shape. Just temporary fixed for now until I confirm all is good. Running out of Cleco pins at this rate..

As much as there's now a 12mm gap to fill in the door and the inner structure, when measured to the passenger door there now the same width.... Go figure bangheadteacher oh well its progress..

Resin Infusion will be an Option after AndyGTT comes round and helps me refine the technique.... His full carbon light weight Noble, saved over 50kgs just on the body over the original Fiber Glass body..

If you don't know him then here's his PH thread

I'd like for you and Andy to adopt me - how do we go about that?

I just wish he'd finish the GTT! Any chance you could give him a poke in the right direction wink

I need more assurances than that!

I like how involved Andy's missus is with his projects - How does your family feel about the time you spend in the garage, Clive?

My Clio V6 is taking up valuable project space at mine. Finally got a good sized garage but not quite enough room for 2 cars frown

Been following that one - another epic build!

He also has a thread about some carbon seats he has made in the Noble forum - more awesomeness!

I'd love either the S65 (V8) or S85 (V10) from BMW in the back of a carbon-clad GTRClive 962... Automotive heaven?
