The distance front to back on a wing section is known as the 'Chord'.

The spelling pedant thread is over there. ------>

Don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out.

Look I got a A in Physics, Technical drawing, Metal/WoodWork and Maths at School but I will reveal only a C in English Language. People that bore me don't get my attention and funny enough he was a boring English Language teacher.... mind you I might have got an A in Cookery as she was a Goddess with a Figure to make a spotty kid all uncomfortable, but seeing as I never took the class and seeing as we later found out the Metal Work teacher was knocker her up I can't cook either....

Bet that Metal work teacher got a lot of street cred though!!!

We had a very fit games mistress for a while, and she was very keen on tennis. My tennis game improved no end while she was there....

Ah, school days...

Thanks for the offer, I have been speaking a certain owner of Pelican Parts who has a few originals. Must admit to getting a lot of good help from the Porsche community, car people just got to love um :-)

Great work on both your threads, I have been following your threads for many years now. I hope to build my own car someday and you made me realize it isn't something that is going to happen fast. Your patience is amazing.

Found this on YouTube today.

Well had a very Busy weekend at the a local indoor show we took the cars to. These pic's taken on the setup day, as I was way to busy talking to people during the show to take any more....

So, when do you quit the day job?

You will then have 112 hours a week to work for yourself instead of 'only' 73.

Of course if you can manage on less than 7 hours sleep and eat while you work you could do even more......

The only problem building for someone else is remembering they are the customer and paying the bills so need to think they are 'right'.

Good luck, though probably not necessary.

When you machine the ali mounts for the wing you could machine a pocket into the side of the main vertical member and have a strain gauge installed. You should then be able to 'Gauge' how much downforce your angular adjustments are achieving.

Saw the V8 thing got picked up on Speedhunters today in a photo review thing of the Calgary show, no mention of the 962 aside from in the comments though which is a shame.

Yes Seems that without a fancy paint job some people just don't get it, but those that did understand the engineering that went into it where very complimentary. Was gutted that we did get any show girls draped over it for some good photos. Perhaps next year with a Good paint job the attention might grow. We also have our own Super Model now to promote the car are self.... She also happens to be the Primary Driver eek Now if I can only convince her to wear some thing appropriate then we are guaranteed more exposure .....
