962 recreation with a GT3 Heart...
Discussion
I stumbled accross this thread this morning and have just finished working my way through it. I shouldn't have, I'm at work but I was hooked and now I feel like I imagine I would if I didn't know that Andy and Red met up again on their escape from Shawshank Prison
Clive, you're a genius but in future can you please only work under contract and include a clause that states 'no projects may be sold, cancelled or otherwise un-completed under any circumstances'.
Many Thanks

Think yourself lucky you've only been involved for one morning.Clive, you're a genius but in future can you please only work under contract and include a clause that states 'no projects may be sold, cancelled or otherwise un-completed under any circumstances'.

The rest of us have been involved for 4 years.
Still been worth it though for the stunning work Clive does.
I'm lucky to have known him from long before he moved to Canada.

So if the new project is arriving this month is the workshop ready.
We need pictures....workshop that is.

Well I'm on tea break from fitting the new Roof to the Barn, so its getting closer to my goal of a heated shop for Xmas... Plus looking out of my house and seeing two 40ft shipping containers is getting very boring and way to red neck for me... I'm off for 10 days now so its the big push...... before the Horrid white stuff starts falling,...We need pictures....workshop that is.

I do have a nice new Electrical supply now though, and i have finally removed the nasty overhead cable that supplied the house with 220V that was right in the middle of the shop..... Split supply as well so 200Amp breaker box in house and Separate but still of the same meter 200Amp 220V supply to the shop.... plenty of power now for a Phase inverter so I can have 3 phase :-)
All underground now in Plastic conduit.... Pulling 200 Meters of 200amp cable inside conduit was a challenge all on its own..

Would love to be building something like that.
First to have the space and second I've left it a little late in life.

It is never too late to build a 'shed'. You will need one when you actually retire even if it is just a place to meet mates and drink beer or coffee!
It's not the same in a house.

News Flash just in... There's a possibility another 962 fan is interested in funding the next build. That would speed up the build again New name for thread though........."962 with a 996 Turbo Heart" fingers crossed will update with info when its confirmed..... Turbo with a Ally Tub might be fun...
