GT3 inbound! I have zero impulse control...

It's not my fault somehow I promise
I'll explain my thought process for your amusement....
I've spent the last week or so hankering after something automotive but not quite sure what. Eventually I narrowed it to something 911-y. Looked at doing something exciting with the engine in my 993 Cab as she's likely a keeper, then moved on and thought about interior retrim and a visit to Chip Wizards instead (tbf, I'd like to do both ideally at some point next year).
Then the man maths truly kicked in when I realised I could treat my 550 as an investment if I took most of the annual mileage off it (I.e. Saved for high days and holidays, normally a donkey under my ownership gets 6k+ miles a year) and put it on another car/serious piece if work. I know you shouldn't treat cars as an investment but in my defence it wasn't the idea when I bought it 18 months ago and the market just does what it does and after adjusted costs it's still done about 10% in 18 months.
So I enquired with Colin at 9M ref a speedster conversion which seemed like an epic option - surprisingly costs weren't as much of an issue as I thought they might be (I.e. I'd have made it work somehow....) but the infrequent availability of 2nd hand speedster parts was (I have little patience once I have an idea) and I didn't have an appetite for £30k +VAT in new parts from Germany
Next stop was a quick enquiry to PS Auto Art ref their Retro Touring R builds that are right up my street. It was always a massive long shot but I had to ask, and the numbers that came back were just fantasy for me, oh well!
Then I accidentally searched for GT3s on PH classifieds....and noticed 911V had a lovely white 7GT3 mk1 on the way in my favourite colour with my ideal spec....and well....it was clearly fate so not really my fault you understand.....and it's now no longer for sale I now have 4 torturous weeks before I get back to the UK to pick it up! Arrrrgh! So excited!

"The car is supplied with a fully invoice supported service history and our ECU check confirmed no ignitions recorded in any of the 6 Rev Ranges suggesting the car...
...has never been taken to the rev-limiter or past" ?????? How can a specialist write that?!?

Rev limit for a 7GT3 is what, 8.4k rpm? According to the website, rev ranges for the 7GT3 begins at 9k rpm....http://www.911virgin.com/porscheforsale/657/997GT3...

Makes sense to me unless I've missed something?

No its me!!! I was in bafoon mode. My apologies.987, 997, 981 and 991 models have the ability to record ignitions in 6 different ranges. Rev Range 1 and 2 record ignitions at or just below the limiter. Ranges 3 through 6 represent increasingly higher engine speeds
Congratulations Mario, epic man math calculations and purchase!
I drove one of these on track for the first time a week ago, they say never meet your heroes but the GT3 was incredible, the sound of that Mezger screaming up past 8000rpm is sublime and steering feel is another level.
Looks to be in A1 condition and best of both both worlds with the buckets and comfort spec.
Enjoy and do get her on track!
