Thames Valley, Porsche Special Models Meet

Tuesday 5th August sees the next in this summer's model or group specific meetings at the Novello.
For August we have our long awaited SPECIALS NIGHT
No, it's not a Ska reunion gig but an evening to appreciate some of Stuttgart's finest creations.

We are looking for all Porsche models that were special editions, Turbo's, GT2/3, GT/S, Supersports, Club Sports, lightweights, RS you get the idea.
Also for customisations, race/track cars, custom paint jobs etc.

We have had plenty come along to our previous meets for Aircooled, Topless,928 and the Front Engined nights that certainly fell into the Specials category.
As well as special editions, all models of Porsche will be welcome

For those who haven't been to our meets before, it's a very informal pub meet with great food, especially the traditional curries cooked by the pubs Indian chefs.

The venue is
The Novello, Bar and Restaurant
Bath Road (A4)
Littlewick Green
Maidenhead
Berkshire
SL6 3RX

We will be there from 18:30 til 22:30 ish

Hope plenty of you can make it and enjoy a great summers evening

Jason

We'll be there. Hoping for a good turn out... last few have been pretty darned good and blessed with great weather, too.

I'll be there in my special Porsche diesel saloon, you could say the (Dawning of A) New Era, don't form a stereotype but it is Gangster. Maybe I've had too much too young in the concrete jungle biggrin

The weather forecast for tomorrow is dry and warm,
so we should get a good turnout.

Hope to see plenty of you there

I hope to be there - I enjoyed last months, my first of these events.

I'll be bringing along my offroad special 996. Well, the ride height is slightly too high and it currently looks like I've been driving it round a field.

Damn, I'd hoped to bring one of my two unfashionable Porsche specials (Cayenne Platinum or 996 Turbo S), but now I am in Warrington travelling by train :-( One of these days I will make it along!

Sorry I couldn't make it last night Jason.

We picked up a last minute 2 day charter yesterday for today & tomorrow so didn't make it back to Uxbridge.

A shame as we were planning on bringing something a little different. Ah well, there's always next month......

I was looking forward to my curry as well smile

Hi Jason, it was my first visit and it was well worth it. Some very nice cars on display and we only needed a 996 GT3 Mk1 to complete the GT3 line up (excluding RS models that is)...

You missed a good night Henry, still nothing like messing about on the water :0)

Some 35 great cars made the journey to Littlewick Green

Here's a few pics

Very nice to see a couple of 968 Club Sports

Checking out my shiny bits, although not as bright as Andy's shirt

Velvet Tyres, you need to feel these.
Almost sexual was one persons view

Spoiler Alert

924 Turbo looking just a tad tiny next to the Panamera
