Just a quick one please...has anybody got a list of what procedures are carried out on the small & large services, for a 2003 turbo?

I have my car taken care of at PC Hatfield & RPM...and do about 5-8k per year mileage...

Was just interested to know exactly what each entails...as I may try doing it myself??

Cheers.

Thanks. But, if that's not to hand, then it doesn't really help, hence the post.

If late 53 model then two year service periods .
Minor 12k 36k 60k 84k
Major 24k 48k 72k 96k
For details of work just log onto p dealer site and follow the link ( to much to type)

Thanks for that. Just logged onto PC Hatfield site and couldn't see a list of what's done, under the servicing section.
Anyone have a URL?

Cheers.

Major service;

Drop the oil, but don't wait long enough for it to fully drain.
Replace oil filter(s) and make sure that you spill plenty on the exhaust so that it smokes impressively for a few days
Tighten the sump bolt with an air gun so it cant be undone again
Over fill it with oil
Inspect brakes and suggest replacement no matter what (corrosion on the inside disc faces is a good one)
Fit a new 1l top up oil can in the boot even if theres already one there and charge for it.
Top the screenwash with water and charge £15 for screenwash
Turn all of the lights on for a few minutes whilst you are chatting up the receptionist so it looks like you are checking them
Rub your oily hand on the drivers door card
Reverse off the ramp revving it hard
Report that there is a good quality Bosch battery fitted and that it should be replaced by a crappy Porsche one.
Get the apprentice to power wash it and hoover some stripes on the carpet.

Job jobbed! biggrin
