There are many after market solutions out there, most of which are more track focussed.

Try
Tarett Engineering
Rennline
RSS
Elephant racing

All offer different solutions at varing costs

Thanks for the info on all the aftermarket parts although the cars road use only they are all a good buy considering your getting a pair for the same price of one genuine I would probably bet they are far better quality as well must admit I do like the rss and elephant ones

I've put over 50K miles on the RSS coffin arms & can confirm they do last very well. I life the inner monoballs & outer ball joints so they got changed after 30K miles but were actually perfectly serviceable when they were removed.

My 997.1 GT3 sounds like there is a nest of pigeons in the front boot, how long are the standard bushes meant to last for?

Who nows ! These gt3 suffer from all kinds of knocking creaking and what ever else can be quite hard to cure this car of mine has done 27k so more than some but there's others with less on that have problems. If your handy with the spanners you can strip it your self and take a look as your time costs nothing I would not like to think of the bill you could rack up chasing noises with dealer doing things like this

I have not been a Porsche owner before I got this gt3 and certainly neaver posted on pistonheads Porsche but I have noticed on more than one occasion now mr demons favarite answer is a 10k refresh when ever it's a noise or suspension issue. Bless him he means well

If it's just the centre ones then you can just replace them with something like the RSS caster pucks. Far far cheaper than replacing the whole arm.

I think you find other people post the 10k thing as a joke, I tend not to say it :-)

But buyer beware, as there is a whole list of items which do wear out and cost over 10k to replace :-)

the 997 joking aside is getting of age all the same things on the 996 MK2 needed the 997.1 will start to need if not already been done.

not just the GT3 , any car used well like the R or the Spyder will need all the same parts replacing.

my 7.2RS has some bushing wear to the front right LCA.

RSS does make some beautiful pieces at a cost.

Most Gt3s will have some wear. Mine started wearing after 8k miles so nothing new here.
