No offence alpinestar but your playing the Internet game very well
Neither me or you are stupid so you know exactly what I'm on about!
Sorry mate, but you've totally lost me. Spell it out for all of us. Neither me or you are stupid so you know exactly what I'm on about!
I'm taking the piss out of Apollo because he said he knew of a blue one that sold for just under 120 about a month or so ago. And now he's saying they are 85 tops. I call bullst on him.
But please spill the beans on my game, I'm intrigued.

I think he's out now that's he's been rumbled.
not at all, I am 4hrs in front, but just to finish on the price, not fair to say I only provided the funds, but you are very wide of the mark, no doubt a few have been caught out on the price though.....like I said it a free market, only the same as one being run up at auction with fake bids, then the next time a car comes up its, "well the this amount was offered for this, and it was not enough, so that means that mine is worth more because."
At the end of the days its upto the buyer......

Maybe it's the time difference Apollo, but a month ago you posted that you knew of a blue car that sold for just under 120. True or false?like I said it a free market, only the same as one being run up at auction with fake bids, then the next time a car comes up its, "well the this amount was offered for this, and it was not enough, so that means that mine is worth more because."

no its because I have taken an interest in em,...I did send a copy of Steve's report to a few out in Malaysia though.. whilst they all know about 4.0s and Gen2s, this 6RS seems to have been a real sleeper....
I know of another Blue one owner car 26k miles, that went for just under 120k last week....

£120-150k for a 996 RS or £200k more for a 997 4.0 RS - even if I could easily afford an extra £200k i wouldn't be able to justify it to myself.
You are away off with your 4.0 price.http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...

sorry, with regard to above, I should have said," I hear" I know neither buyer or seller, lot of market making going on or, trying to..
I'll let the jury decide on this one. As we were then, 85k tops. cjb1 said:
