We all know Hexagon do and that SCOM are toppy, but JZM in my view are pretty transparent. Whether the 6s are being sold at 150 or not is a bit academic, as there appear to have been at least 3 cars advertised at the 120 mark, and each is being shown as sold by 3 different dealers. So I can only conclude that prices have gone up substantially in the last year.

And again I reiterate that my view has nothing to do with being an owner. It's a rare commodity, the market is bigger than it's ever been and supply can only go down. No doubt there'll be corrections along the way, but it doesn't take a genius to work out the trend on RS' generally is from bottom left to top right. Despite our resident racing God's view of them.
I disagree,

I see nothing wrong in this price practice, its only the same as auction house accepting fake bids, in order to drive the price up, its much more wide spread than you would think, I will be doing this with a 4.0 soon in a export market.

As for the car in question, imv it has no right to be up on the coat tails of the RS range in the round . I get all the most "successfully car" ever in a one make series ect, but the clue being in the" one make series"......
Free market
Of course it is, but caveat emptor as the Romans say. Again, I'm not fussed what different dealers do, that's their prerogative.

I'm merely commenting that JZM in my view, are a transparent lot. And I can now confirm both cars at JZM were sold.

fair enough, they aren't for everyone - much as I enjoyed all the 997 GT3 derivatives I've owned, the 996 RS just got under my skin more so. but then I only really use it for track days.
fully agree with you on the 997 lot also as I said the front end is flawed. Just washes out, its horrible.....

lol...my view is normally in line with the market, and the market has spoken a long time ago on this dog...

As for future tech, I am interested in the Jet Car concept, and I have a few letters of intent in.

Not suggesting jzm are doin this although everyone should be a bit suss about 993 turbo pricing. My point it that 'most' performance car sales teams are doin this! Happened with 306 cs, 550 barchetta and happened with 964rs! Just wish people would tread carefully, and not get caught out like some have if there is ever goin to be this make believe bubble that's gonna burst this will be the reason why!

Apparently I best say that in capitals 'APPARENTLY' blue 996rs gone abroad and red rs sale cannot be discussed for client priviency! biggrin make of that what you will!

Anyhow could well and possibly will get caught out in some cases but buyers please don't get suckered in!

I think you'll find the likes of JZM are good at making these cars turn in better than when new.

I had my old one sorted out no problem.

My 6RS I recently sold...loved it ticked the box now moving back into 997 ownership its all personal

Most, if not all, of the cars under discussion here are consignment sales.

JZM usually work on a flat rate (not a %) for consignment sales of cars above £100k.

Therefore they have less motivation to ramp the market. Their main motivation is to sell it ASAP at the minimum price the vendor is happy with.

They sold my 993RS on a consignment basis. I was very happy with the price achieved and the overall process.

Just want to say that I have been to JZM several times and have always found them polite, professional and very trustworthy - these are the reasons I trust them with my car in the first place.

Several times when I have visited, I have spoken to customers who were there to collect their just purchased car. These cars included an air-cooled 930, a 993, a 996RS, a 997.2 GT3 RS and recently a 997.1 GT3......these were real customers buying the cars an not a conspiracy or a work of fiction.

As a side note, I remember a while back they had a speed yellow 997.2 GT3 RS in stock in within a few hours (note:HOURS!) the car had been sold to a poster on here.
