Dropping in here briefly after spending some time on 911uk.com, I was wondering if I had perhaps over- reacted to the "crimp" saga . . . . . but no, the pompous/psuedo aggressive tone of some posters (something I noticed over one or two subjects I have posted. . . I remember being metaphorically given 1000 lashes when my car lost coolant once by "bikers" who reckoned a manslaughter conviction should be instigated in case one of theirs might have fallen on his @rse ) a few of whom seem to have some real "issues" in communicating with the rest of the human race, has reminded me why I am so seldom to be found on here.

please only answer the OP examiner's set question wink

the price is irrelevant - yet its apparently a bespoke (really?) product and some guff about enthusiasts

..and as well as the manufacturer and their network he also looks down on internet fora generally and tends to disagree with 99% of people here

i'd suggest a massage but he wouldn't take kindly
biggrin

Brian Sewell springs to mind .......
Sounds like Flemke to me.

Just my two p worth.

On the cars I have completed the recall on two have had a noise after the second roadtest - traced to the rear lid hinge stop. Open the lid; look in the top corners and an adjustable stop is visible, put a dab of grease on the stop and retest- if the noise goes then wind the stop down 1/4 turn (I found the preload was too high causing the noises).
Yep, this happened to my car, 3 times into the dealer to sort without success, did it myself in 30 seconds!
