OPC recommendations

They seem to have a pretty good reputation and have certainly tried hard to get my business. They did some suspension work for me recently, it got more complicated as it went on and the tech. came in on a Saturday to complete the work, I collected it at 1pm and drove straight to the Channel Tunnel. I thought it was good service although I had to reach deep into my wallet to pay for it.
Excellent experiences with the service team in Exeter. In sharp contrast to Bristol and West London (no surprise there).
Purchased an Approved 997 C4S from Bristol early last year. The clutch went (cruising in 6th on the M5; fortunately not too much traffic so could pull over without incident) a few months later. Coincidentally happened to be near Bristol so was towed there. The first quote from them was something like £1600 for a new clutch with absolutely zero consideration that the car rolled off their forecourt only a few months beforehand.
Either way, £1600 didn't seem right. First Porsche so didn't know for sure but phoned a few other OPCs and checked with RSJ too. OPC Exeter were not only the most reasonable, straight off the bat, with no negotiation but were also very sympathetic to the situation and seemed genuinely surprised with the story from Bristol. Returning to Bristol armed with more information didn't seem to yield too much of an apology as they really weren't too happy to match the Exeter quote.
West London seem to struggle with even the most basic of enquiries and straight-forward work. I suspect their game is selling new cars and there's less interest in the service side. They fitted Cruise Control on the same car but the configuration lost some of the telephone functionality from the dash menu. Went back to them twice. They couldn't figure it out and weren't at all interested in finding a solution. Unfortunately you lose some battles and knew that it was due in for something else (with Exeter) so left it.
The 997 recently went in for it's 6 year service with OPC Exeter. Excellent service. Everything was very straight-forward and they fixed the Cruise Control / Telephone dash menu stuff too. Maybe they've done a really good job of pulling the wool over my eyes but you get the impression that they are pretty enthusiastic about the cars and are really happy to make things work for you. Wayne, who I think is the main man in the workshop, seems to be one of those kind of people that would still turn up and do the work even if they stopped paying him (if you know what I mean). The only grumble is that they are not keen on courtesy cars being loaned out over a weekend, i.e. Mon-Fri is fine, but Thurs-Tues is not. Bit of a pain but much much much better than Bristol and West London.
If (well let's be honest, when!) the next Porsche comes along, everything from purchase to all service work will go through Exeter.

Swindon, Bristol, Cardiff & the new Tewkesbury OPC are all part of the Dick Lovett group.
I've had dealings with Cardiff mostly, and they are absolutely spot on. One of the guys attends the TIPEC meetings & is really helpful, plus the TIPEC group have negotiated some pretty good discounts on servicing & maintenance work.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending them, they are a good bunch.
