Stone chipping on GT3's
Discussion
Hi all,
I've been looking at some GT3's recently at OPC's, but the one thing I've been surprised at is the amount of stone chips to the cars even with less 15K miles.
The lower front valance, front wheel arch, rear wheel arch and headlights were all substantially peppered, my other cars like Focus RS / M3 with > 35K miles are far less damaged.
Can anyone comment?

Silverstone told me they spray the nose and front wings of all retail cars to remove stone chips. Have the cars you've seen not been prepared for sale, or does practice differ between opcs I wonder?
Headlights are a give away seen a few cars which were a right mess at OPC's but unmarked paint. mollytherocker said:

Whats going on with all the talk on the 991 GT3's wheels getting stone chips. Seem to be quoted quite a bit, is it a quality issue with these lovely wheels, or, 4 wheel steering collecting more debris on the rears at speed on and in a corner, sounds strange.
