I've just spent £1100 on a really tidy 3 door T reg Toyota Rav4,perfect for winter and all round dog duties, it's got leccy everything (which works),leather seats and aircon. I'm happy to leave it anywhere, but wouldn't be embarrassed to visit clients in it. There's plenty of good value cheapies out there to help keep your P&J in good shape.

Went on holiday this year and booked a 3 series but ended up with a BMW x1, thought it might be interesting (never tried a big chelsea tractor before) and turned out to be the most horrific thing i have driven in my life. Boot that was smaller than my honda jazz, pretty poor MPG for a diesel, turning circle of a bus and the interior about the same as a standard hatch, I just didn't "get" it

My sister-in-law has an X1 - awful thing if you ask me. She loves it though, but she doesn't know what the fk she's talking about. There's a post elsewhere recently of a poster on here with a Golf R and a Cayman R - perfect two car garage for a small family if you ask me.

X1 is not a SUV, it is a fashion thing. X5 is a diffrent drive

I have updated my profile, my 997 is no longer for sale and PH advert expires tomorrow.

Have emailed Hartech asking what parts I should buy to prolong the life of my engine (warranty expired 1 week ago). Grant responded to say they're developing some new parts.

Cridfords Porsche offered me £24k for mine, which isn't bad and think I could have pushed for £25k as this was just an offer over the phone. Would cost me £45k to buy a 2009 Gen 2 S from Porsche Approved Used. Don't think the car is worth £20k more when the interior and just about every body panel is the same.

The MK5 GTI is deemed a bit boy racer for my wife to use so swapping this in for a B8 S4 Avant - £285 road tax, 30 ish mpg, lots of toys and cost is approx £20k. Good review from Chris Harris on this car. Looking forward to some long road trips across Europe in this.

Can't complain :-)

Nice little fleet. It'd pain me to leave a 911 at the station though.

A scooter or bicycle for the 2-mile station trips, perhaps?
