"Do Not Feed The Troll"
The people trolling are the people bringing me up all the time , calling me a tosser and worse + general other stuff, that is what Trolling is about.
5 or 6 guys seem to think it's OK to talk to me in that way which I find odd, but then that's forum user for you I guess.

"Trolling has become a platform and a stage to bombard people with insults, provocations and insulting threatening language"
In real terms it's on line bullying !

It's a shame PH don't see it as an issue and ban the Trolls under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003.
Ok everyone put your handbags down....

If you don't like someones opinion just let it slide we are all entitled. No need to take it any further than that really and to lower yourself to mild abuse is a waste of your time and continues this thread down a hole the rest are not interested in.

Now shake hands and move on please!

So tell me Demon, why don't I see other arguments going on around me, why is it only you that seems to get peoples backs up?

You have a tone which upsets others, you should for the sake of the forum and might I add yourself, try to be less direct and more friendly towards others.
You're very quick to put people down and you seem to have little to no patience whatsoever.

From here on, you'll find me friendly and in good spirits towards you. Can you do the same for others?

Lets give it a go?

I don't put any one down, I might have my own opinion on things, and I am not going to say I like some thing when I don't, I don't go round calling people a "tosser" do I ? or use any threatening language !

the forum has many users and many people back me up and send me PM's supporting me (when it worked), it's only the same 5 or 6 people who are quite aggressive and make a big thing of it.

So to bring this thread back on topic. My GT4 is being built today and will be ready to ship to the UK on Wednesday, should receive it the first week in March all being well!!!!

Anyone found any good Insurance companies to deal with - Seen some are with Admiral others gone down the specialist route any that don't require the fitment of a tracker would be preferred.. I'm not going to be tracking mine so that's not a concern any pointers will be gratefully received.

Admirals ok for cars under 3 years old imo, you get market value and no tracker needed, the policy has a lot of small print for cars over 3 years old and should be avoided on higher priced cars over 3 years old. but then many insurers have tough rules for how they repair a car over 3 years old which people don't look into until it's too late.

Back on track I am with admiral but plenty of companies don't require a tracker all depends on value of the car, I think rule of thumb is over£75k a tracker may be required. Anyway I bet you can't wait to see what all the fuss is about ,what's your spec.

Does anyone remember the crashed white GT4 on there a few weeks back? Tom was with Admiral and didn't get the desired payout / what it was worth. I would say go with a higher quality policy but thats just my advice.

Thats quick?! Mine went into production on 7th Feb and is being finished in the 21st Feb! I am having red belts and some 'exclusive' options etc which means it then has to go into the Exclusive operations area to have these fitted by hand and can take longer to build as a result. Are you having any exclusive options fitted?

This is the problem with the value of the gt4 rising so quickly but I am of the opinion is if the worse happens and I get back what I paid then I am not going to worry too much, but next year at renewal and so on I just keep on insuring for £75k or below tracker threshold

Fair enough but if it was stolen you would have to pay maybe 20k more to get yourself back into one.

No I'm having the leather interior pack (silver stitching) that's it, not sure if that qualifies as exclusive....

Spec is from the top of my head so may have missed something:

Sapphire Blue
Platinum wheels
Black supports
Extended leather (silver stitching)
64litre tank
LWB's
Sports Chrono (I know...)
Dual AC
Auto dimming lights and auto window wipers
PCM
DAB
Mobile Prep
Online Services

Happy with the spec as its a road car rather than track for me... I was talked into the Sport Chrono by the dealer I didn't see a use for it if I'm honest but he insisted I was making a big mistake so I crumbled to pressure frown at least I will have a nice clock to look at smile

Does "exclusive" work like that? I just thought it was marketing to make us all feel special about our leather dashboards and carbon bits.

I'm with you on this one, insure for what you pay (ideally below £75k) and if the worst happens, either try to claim market value, or just get your money back and move on. I'm not sure that the owner of the white GT4 that was written off ever confirmed if Admiral paid out, but he ended up in a rather nice silver GT4 with some hint that Porsche arranged a new build because they felt sorry for him (for having his mate wreck his car!)

Can you also point out which insurance companies do not require a tracker on a car with a value of more than 65/70k as the ones I spoke to in the past (maybe I need to move away from specialists) all insisted on a tracker
He doesn't need a tracker James because he's sold his car!
I am with Admiral and they have insured my car with no tracker (its a GT3 not a GT4)

As for MrDemon, I am not sure if he has sold his car, I don't think he has confirmed yet.
Im guessing that doesnt include track cover?

People should watch troll hunters on bbc iplayer to get an idea on what trolling is. p.s. Demon, where the people emailing you support from your other accounts you have ;-)

Wow you have loads of exclusive options there AS, your car will takes ages... ;o)

Sports Chrono is just weak, so weak... I have it too (!) and am looking forward to being to tell the time without having to search for it on the instrument display! Thats worth the grand asking price alone!
