Yes it is, system open, spec plugged in, order number and Comms number spat out.
comms number don't mean squat and no one has a order number yet, I don't know of any UK orders who have had to pay the 10% and have a full order. Why do you keep posting crap !

Done and dusted then, i will no longer post anything else about how I had my LOI in, paid my deposit at 8.30am on release day, recieved a Comms number, signed my order forms, recieved my order number, be invited to Geneva to view the car, only to lose my slot and place the following week. I wont mention any of that again in case it upsets you guys!!!
ThanksNewExigeS said:

Whenever I'm passing I call in for a catch up , see what they have in and a cuppa and talk about the crazy price rises in whatever the current booming model is . At least once a month, normally more .
Sorry, you pop in for a cuppa and a chat with you're Porsche salesman at least once a month normally more...?Edited by GT3cs on Monday 23 February 18:13

Not upset! Just stating what I've been told by the SM at the dealership where I have had my position confirmed and hopefully locked. No confirmed order though as this is unlikely to go ahead until a bit later, maybe after Geneva. I didn't and won't comment on your situation and don't doubt that it happened exactly the way you described. For what it's worth I think Porsche could have handled this better, including some of the OPC's. I was bumped down the list at one OPC but luckily another honored the list they had put together. So you could say some are better than others. They've all been put under pressure by Porsche though due to the small allocation.

Rather insulting response but never mind ...
I've bought 5 cars in the last 8 months , so not unreasonable IMO.
Sorry no insult meant to be fair the post just said you pop in more than once a month for a chat and a cuppa with the sales team, that is a bit weird isn't it?I've bought 5 cars in the last 8 months , so not unreasonable IMO.
If you've bought 5 cars in 8 months then that would explain lots of visits which is not weird, but that's not what you said is it.
Anyhow no offence meant or intended, we all do things differently.
I'm sure they are very pleased to see you, you should invite them over for a dinner party with their wives, should be a good night

:-) I guess it does sound a bit weird without the car buying piece !If you've bought 5 cars in 8 months then that would explain lots of visits which is not weird, but that's not what you said is it.

Most of those visits are dropping something off or signing a doc which could be done by post but personally I think its a good idea to call in . The point I was trying to make is like it or not it's very unlikely you'd be able to walk in cold and buy a GT3 or a GT4 , it helps hugely to be known . My 991 GT3 , a mint Cayman R that never made the website , along with high probability of a GT4 show that it's the right approach .
Ref : dinner party I'll ask for a picture of his missus next time I'm in and we'll take it from there ;-)
