1315 kg DIN... once you add the radio and AC back in it'll weigh the same as a GT4.
I have to say I prefer the looks of the Spyder to the GT4, less shouty due to the wing and wheels. I also like the idea of a passive suspension with 10mm more ride height.

Spyder for the road, GT4 for the track... I'll visit the OPC after lunch to see if there's a possibility of changing my PTS GT4 preorder to a Spyder.
obviously personal thing, but with the roof down the spyder looks quite good,it looks like an abomination with it up though.

Per one of the chaps over on Rennlist, Sapphire Blue is no longer available from this point on as a GT4 colour.

don't hold your breath if its a Welsh OPC !
You'll have to expand on that one?

I'm number 4 at The Welsh OPC. Currently going to be first of the 2016 builds.
I'm in line for the first car there. What's the scoop on opc Cardiff?

Is this an April fools? Has anyone had confirmation from a UK OPC?

No GT suspension, brakes or downforce... it's a GTS with more grunt, standard fitment of passive sport suspension and bucket seats, a partial GT4 body kit, and a manually operated roof to compensate for the weight of the 3.8. More practical as a road car in ground clearance, agreed, but less in luggage space and without the spectacular precision of a GT car. Despite its £4k lower price, as a GTS+ rather than a GT it is not the bargain that the GT4 is and I can't see it holding its value as well.

Could someone explain to me how it is that the clubsport package will cost an extra £4577 as you have to include the buckets, when the clubsport package on my 996 GT3 (and also I think on a 997 GT3) was a no-cost option when ordered with the car?

... because the throttle valve closes from 90° back to 45° above a certain RPM. That's how Porsche restricts the last 10 PS of all Boxsters compared to their Cayman brothers.
Obviously trivial to fix with a remap.

Offered a GT4 slot today - on the condition I trade in my GT3.

Hmmm - if the OPC stick to this I will turn it down.

The GT4 will also gain power at speed from the ram effect of it's extended intakes, which the Spyder doesn't have.

Were you looking to run a GT4 in addition to the GT3?
Yes, I'd like to store the GT3 because it is perfect and use the Gt4 as a daily car.
