More likely sequential rather than PDK.

And it looks like the increase in UK allocation for the GT4 is real.
What does that mean in numbers? Thought it was 3 or 4 per OPC in 2015. Is that going to change?

Nope, the USA seems to have a few more, not seen any numbers to say the UK is.

My order has been done in full now and all real paper work done and signed. switched over to yellow also, and as every thing is black, gone for black wheels.
I had planned to add the Porsche door stripe anyway.

LOvely demon big fan of yellow/black but in two minds if the Red calipers will work

Where are you getting this info from, I know a few people who are upfront with numbers and i am not seeing it.

OPC's don't even have there 2016 numbers yet so are just guessing they will get the same ammount of cars in 2016 than 2015 which I don't see to be true.

Spyder numbers even look down on the org figures OPC were given.

There are circa 125 2015 cars from a org 200 car UK number for both years., most think another 125 2016 cars for 250 total, 50 more cars.

I have not seen anything to say more than 200 yet.

Track-only Porsche Cayman GT4 spied

From the article:
We are not sure of what to make of this but chances are this is a track-only version of the recently introduced Cayman GT4. The prototype was spotted undergoing some intense testing at the Monza circuit in Italy and it appears to adopt a lower suspension and rides on race-spec lightweight wheels wrapped around in racing slicks.

4 pictures and video in the gallery

.
Wow that looks and sounds awesome!
+1 - lets hope is the RS version with a proper motorsport engine inside woohoo

Clearly pdk.
I think race sequential rather than PDK. Sounds wonderful though!

My OPC only allocated 4 GT4's vs 6 GT3RS's.... And they have only been allocated 1 x Spyder.... Had my official letter in the post today to confirm I'm not one of the lucky 4! So new fully loaded GTS or a 997.1 GT3 or go balls deep and shoot for the 570s.... Going to see it on the 14th in London and have a option on one but need to decide quickly! Thoughts?

Completely different price point, imv, if you can push I would go for a pre-reg del miles 650SP and bid very hard........

Friend who had originally been told he wasn't getting a car has been contacted this week to say he is getting one from an increase in their allocation.

Nothing solid then.

People have dropped out, people who were getting 2016 cars cannot be arsed to wait, many reasons why one dealer has another car.

Could well be a few more cars but be great to get a real number if it's over 200.

No. They have had an increase in their allocation. A further 3 cars from what they were originally given.

Allocation of cars that were kept aside for 918 customers but they haven't taken up on the opportunity, then re-allocated to OPCs for purchase by 'normal' buyers... My OPC got an extra 2

That would mean no more cars than the 200 number.

I was having a dilemma having been able to buy a syder. I'm 1st on the list for the next batch of the gt4.
While chatting to my opc this morning about the choice, they certainly didn't mention any extra allocation this year.
Given how people in the 1st car's aren't getting them until late 2015 I can't see any more this year.
