4000 cars seems high given the current UK OPC allocations Not sure 4,000 cars implies more GT4s for the UK, since that is for the 2 year production run, so roughly 2,000 each year, and the UK is a bit less than 10% of Porsche volumes globally, so 200 cars for UK each year sounds about right. They might adjust the UK allocation upwards a bit to reflect demand by reducing other markets, but in my view unlikely to be any more than about 250 per year for UK.
I was initially told it was 200 cars or so over the two years with my dealer getting 3 in the first year, and maybe 1-2 next year. But more recently they have been given another 3 cars this year (total 6 for 2015), however it wasnt clear if that increased the 200 in total or not - I guess it would make sense that it does...
Closer to 400, than 200 I expect. no chance, 50 more cars max imo most OPC were going to get 3 in 2016 and now a few say 4
that's a max of 280 if ALL OPC got 4 each year but some only got 3 in 2015 and build slots are only one a month per OPC.
So no way to get 400/500 cars out.
Porsche cannot build what they have orders for as is, they have ran out of paint and seats !!!
we have RS delays, GTS delays, Spyder delays, CS delays, seats delays and no paint !
What's odd is there seems to be less Spyders than the 150 figure, maybe the Gt4 took some of those slots.
I don't see how they can magic 300 more Gt4's when 90% of 2015 cars won't be here till /Nov/Dec 2015 anyway !
so they won't even get the 125 2015 cars out this year either ! and when does 981.2 build start ?
Not that it's an issue just cannot see more than 50 more cars coming, all the shouters who failed to get one don't seem to have been told they now how one do they ?
Some OPCs are still at only 3 cars for 2015 and with the 8 week delay the 3rd cars won't arrive till March 2016 !

Have a Sapphire Blue with buckets due in May( Porsche Antibes). Paid my deposit at earliest possible date. Was worried when read posts on here re colour and seats. E mailed Antibes. They just confirmed car ordered as per my spec ( this was about two weeks ago) presumably would have heard by now if colour not available and delay for seats. From your experience do you think the car will be available in May?Will post a pic when its around!

I did put my deposit early Feb as soon as I understood the car was a go (CP Paris 16); the guy did very quickly confirm a may delivery, then when I checked last week told me my car was scheduled to roll off the line week of April 20... so far they sound quite reliable so I guess you can trust the May schedule. He also told me my car would be the very first in the Paris Region (Ile de France)... Nice!!!
