I was always told that I was getting the second of four 2015 cars out of my OPC. I don't know why I wasn't given a build date until now. It certainly wasn't for lack of trying to get it out of them.Were you already told that you would get a car or are you now getting one because of additional allocations?
is there some confusion over model year ie 2015 MY is until circa end of june and 2016 MY is july onwards.i was told i was getting a car end of year through extra batch but no mention of what years allocation!with the arrival of new models will gt4 builds finish early next year?hence what we may see is 2015/2016MY built over 12 months but all called 2016MY as per CR that was only one MY(2012)start circa march 2011 finish feb.2012 and 5000 cars built worldwide.

I think build will finish very early 2016 hence the 2016 cars now being allocated to customers.
And while it seemed like a load of new cars it was just the next 80 or so being allocated out after the 1st batch of 125 cars.
what I don't get is total numbers and big reduction in 981 Spyder numbers unless it's the same thing and they have not got 2016 allocation of Spyders yet, so we will see another 80 people say "I have now got a Spyder" very soon.

I think that exhaust would wear thin on me after about 5 minutes, but each to their own!flaps are unplugged atm and that was a WOT demo, off load it sounds normal and I can also reattach the flaps system.
Also mic is next to rear exhaust outlet, so it's not like that in the cabin lol.

I think the GT4 vid noise is misleading - not a great mic/recoding. All the mag test video's like Autocar, Evo, etc - the car sounds like a proper Porsche and not farting away. I hate to say it but in the GT4 vs 991 GTS vid, I think the GTS sounded the nicer of the two, bit more of a cultured flat 6 noise. Need to hear in real life to know for sure, bet it sounds great though....
