Quite a lot of axle hop there. Over 4,6 sec to 60 thanks to the completely idiotic gearing. Yes I'm aware that isn't the point but come on, it could easily do it below 4 with the right ratios. Meanwhile the fettled A45 4-pot shopping trolley does it 1 sec faster...

There are a couple of other new items appeared on the configurator today, aside from PTS
CHN - Personalised carbon floor mats with leather edging £446
XLU - Sun visors in Alcantara £279
Not sure about the value of the carbon mats (whatever they are) but the Alcantara sun visors seem worth adding to replace the rather basic plastic ones.

Has anyone gone for central console in leather in a previous car or is there anyone speccing it on their GT4? I've opted for carbon pack but it gives you the option of having the central console in leather or carbon and I'm not sure what to go for... Could be carbon overkill but will the black leather look out of place?

Im going carbon centre & door sills (having opted for the carbon pack too) - I don't think its overkill, indeed I think it ties in nicely with the LWB seats. That said I think leather centre would work well and would certainly lower the impact of the carbon overall if you are concerned about too much carbon.Im guessing the new carbon floor mats wont be for you then! I've no idea what these are, but the image I have in my head is not good.

I have taken Carbon off and gone for Anthracite trim, Mexcio blue, silver stiching, and silver wheels.
I think it is a better choice than the yellow with black wheels that you are telling people on the other forum that you are going for. It will be awesome in Mexico blue. I just wish I had you patience to wait. People are saying up to 6 months delay for PTS. Any truth in that?cymario said:

Colour will look awesome! No black wheels / wing supports with that though?
I don't like the silver wheels. However, you should not concern yourself with my tastes! - For the record, I also like heavy metal and badgers. What do I know eh?

I was told all PTS cars would be built in 2016. This was back when the car was first announced and nobody mentioned PTS, but I ordered on the condition that I could get it with a PTS colour. My riviera blue Clubsport GT4 is still on schedule for February delivery.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
