I also saw the yellow GT4 at PEC but did not see the white one as I left yesterday before the preview event. The chaps let me see it when it was still parked in the compound. Does anyone have any pics of the white one?
Interestingly, the yellow did not have the dual climate control. Many of you see this as important?

I had it opted but have scrapped it now, was in my mates 981 GTS the other week and he doesn't have it, leaves the fan speed on low and temp at a comfortable setting and it's never been an issueInterestingly, the yellow did not have the dual climate control. Many of you see this as important?

It's not important ,but its Nice to have and on any car over 50k should really be standard kit.Interestingly, the yellow did not have the dual climate control. Many of you see this as important?

I was at the Porsche experience centre yesterday. I asked one of the instructors about PCCB and he said that nearly all of the cars used on the track at the centre are not fitted with them and that the standard brakes are more than adequate for normal track use.Could anyone help in letting me know what Door trip package in Leather/Alcantara is? no it looks drab :-( most people who ordered white yesterday though about changing colour.
be ok with some stickers I guess.
Thanks.be ok with some stickers I guess.
I wonder if the metallic white would be better? Thinking seriously about changing my mind to jet black metallic and black wheels. My neighbor has just bought a used 991 gt3 in black and black wheels. It has the standard red calipers and red seat belts. The car looks fantastic

Don't think they car will be tracked that often it was more of a resale and looks think and used hard on the road. Dealer says fit them but they could be up selling me. Ive got thill Thursday to decide
If its not even going to be tracked often I would definately stay away from them. The standard brakes are already oversized and many people would be put off by the potential of huge replacement costs.jonnywalker46 said:

If you fancy them, order them. I have had 2 GT3's in the past with PCCB's and 3 with steelies. I had no problems with the PCCB's on both the GT3's that were fitted with them (a 996 RS and a gen1 997 RS) and they were both tracked extensively. Both those cars rode slightly nicer presumably as a result of the weight saving. It doesn't surprise me that they don't fit them to the PEC cars (except the PEC Cayman GT4 on display last night), that is sensible given it's a very short low speed circuit and replacement discs are very expensive. I certainly wouldn't be put off by a used car fitted with PCCB's, if anything I would prefer it after a thorough check over.
After a bit of deliberating I ordered my GT4 with PCCB and seeing the yellow GT4 at the PEC last night in club sport spec, with PCCBs, I was quite pleased to have done so. They, and indeed the whole car, looks mega. They had a new 991 GT3 RS in orange next to the yellow Cayman and to be honest the smaller car didn't look overwhelmed at all. That car (the 991 RS) was on steelies....
I thought the white car looked quite pretty, and the adaptive sports seats very comfy, although I would prefer mine with buckets as ordered, wait or no wait.
