Good luck to you. I'm sure someone will. Still don't understand the idea of buying a car only to flip it. Feeds the sad world where genuine buyers miss out.
I guess not everyones morale compass points north.
The issue is you cannot try the cars. so a 3.8 Cayman is launched you have to order it 2 years in advance !!!I guess not everyones morale compass points north.
nothing else you can do, I hate buying this way but it was the only way to get one !
Can you NOT SEE THAT ?
And its not the only way to get one. Just buy second hand a flipped car with delivery miles as you expect others to buy.
Given a chance at to buy at list I would snap one in a second and not worry about imperfections, but rather appreciate the car for what it is. And consider myself luckily for owning such a nice car.
Talk about first world problems.

Any other time i.e. pre 2012, Mr Demon would have been delighted for you to take his slot and save him losing a deposit/face etc.
He has been honest enough to say it is about the money and he will try it. But if prices drop just as he acquires the car, he might soon be singing its praises. Evolving strategy.

Consistency isn't your strongest point is it?
Have you actually ever driven a 12c? That car is seriously quick to the point if you're complaining about not being able to use a gt3 properly on the road with the speed limits the Mclaren is going to be utterly impossible. And as far as complaining about gearing you are doing almost 80 at 2nd gear at 8k rpm and certainly in excess of 100 at 8+k rpm in 3rd.
you don't get how a turbo drives vs a high reving NA engine then do you ?Have you actually ever driven a 12c? 400lb/ft torque at 4k revs ;-) so a a broad, flexible powerband, I am sure people have not driven much if any performance cars to quote such stuff on here :-/
what does a GT3 have torque wise at 4k ? about 225lb/ft prob less in fact ! As I said I am after a whole new angle.

yes after 20+k miles in a 12c i have absolutely no idea how a turbo car drives.......400lb/ft torque at 4k revs ;-) so a a broad, flexible powerband, I am sure people have not driven much if any performance cars to quote such stuff on here :-/

so why would you say what you did then ? why do I have to back UP EVERY THING I SAY to every one !!
crazy forum !!!
because no one drives the 12c at 4k rpm because the engine wants to be revved.crazy forum !!!
because you kept on complaining about running out of road on the gt3 before having to brake and you are talking about getting the 12c which is a different magnitude of acceleration.
because if you're getting more frustrated in a long geared Porsche on the UK public road, the 12c is a car that travels far more effortlessly far faster and should therefore be somewhere near the bottom of your list of cars you would like to have.
because you can't stop contradicting yourself and actually being consistent in half the things you say.
need i go on....?

faster in a shorter distance is the key, I have ran 430lbft cars which do 8 seconds to a ton they are far more usable than NA GT3's
you have in the past kept on blathering on about how the gt3 doesn't work on the road as you cannot get the best from it and it's frustrating without 125mph roads. If you think that you're going to need 150+mph roads to really enjoy the 12c and not feel frustrated especially as it's a car that is likely even more at home in Spa than a gt3. Have you actually ever driven a 12c I ask again....? A gt3 is IMO a considerably easier car to enjoy on the road at a vaguely road legal fashion compared to the Mclaren so as I really rather quite like the 12c, I'm doing you a favour by telling you all this and also saving myself from having to read endless tirades about how poor the car is compared to your precious spyder or cayman r.......

I am also getting more frustrated with UK roads, half the time it seems pointless to own stuff esp long geared Porkers !! , the MP12C will give me another angle on motoring.
You need to move up north for perfect driving roads.............Re the Mac 12c, personally I find it 'detached' as a driving experience.....similar to a 911 TTs. 458 and not necessarily a Speciale would get my vote.
