Mine is a prototype, I'd guess a bit under £500.

The criticism levelled at the GT4 concerning long gearing has not for me appeared to be a problem in day to day driving in typical road conditions( It maybe the case for the track) I find in most situations I am short shifting between first, second and third with the torque doing its job. I will say the car does prefer to be in first in certain low speed situations where other cars would be OK in second. The opportunities to max out the revs are unfortunately licence losing on the road.1,800 miles so far of happy motoring. The track beckons??

Do the folding buckets come with the GT4 logo on the headrest as no mention on the configurator and also not in the original brochure as an option?
Also how do this compare in a 981 to a 987 ie vision, position etc, reason I ask is I had them in my spyder and loved them I am not 100% in love with 918 style buckets and the adaptives I will be forever playing with the settings and so currently with the standard sports seats plus which are free and IMHO are just as nice as adaptives but also save money and weight!

Yes I believe they do - have a look at the 3D view in the configurator.

The way I understood the prob was that the opportunity of going up and down the gears was going to be lessened by the gearing. As I have said in real world driving situations I have not found this to be the case. This is probably more a reflection of just how rubbish and congested A and B road driving conditions are but essentially you are correct.

£105,985

Doesn't look bad value in comparison to the 997 GT3 market.

Nice quick 25k profit. Sure Porsche would be happy about that. He can consider himself scrubbed off the GT4 RS list wink;)

Not a car you can buy today.

big spec though and £25k over list.

Think we will be seeing 5 or 10 cars up for sale straight away, key to price is having a car in stock some one can drive away though to get people to part with that sort of money.

Dad, four fifty
Jousting sticks. Tell him he’s dreaming.
How much is a jousting stick worth dad?
Couldn’t be more than two fifty. Depend on the
condition.

Any guesses for who could be behind this car & trying to ramp up the pricing?

It's pretty much what I expected - circa £25K premium.

Not really fair, it is stonking value in the Porsche hierarchy.

I have little doubt an E36 M3 bought for £3k and £7k spent on it will outpace the 987.2 you are suggesting. wink

Of course we will. You won't be the only flipper.

Can you drop the comically self-directed "...it's ok to flip, everyone does it..." conscience-salving campaign now? It's only you that has to be happy with the choices you make so there's really no need to inflict your anxieties on everyone else...

Just dropped my GT4 off at Brookspeed in Southampton for them to do some set-up work on their excellent set-up facility. Four hard track days have taken a fair toll on the edges of the tyres, so some additional camber is required I think ?

it really does make my spec. of £71k look really good valuebiggrin
not bothered what they go for as long as they retain their value like my spyder did then its win win for me although if they go up its a Brucie bonus!
