Me too (well with a cat 7 tracker but not that one) a whole £1100 higher than my best quote with a cat 5 tracker.

Going to shop around again nearer time but sub £800 with the right tracker and track days appears to be achievable for me.

35, TA4 postcode, 9 years NCD, no claims in last 5 years and £11k worth of options

Would be interesting to see who has quotes, who from and with what options and tracker to compare. I'll refrain from another thread on it wink
Are you going with Porsche VTS? I'll call AF tomorrow and hopefully my quote will come down more if I say CAT5 - they didn't ask me to quote options btw, said I didn't need to? Just the total value of the vehicle.

Best quote so far is with admiral (no tracker) £1400ish - I'm 27, 7 years NCD, no claims in last 5 years, SP50 and 3 points in 2011 and SK9 postcode

I can see this whole insurance and tracker situation be the hardest part of the process when buying this car wink
Best quote I had was 1st choice (what came out on the comparison sites) £381 - 30 years old, 11 NCD (protected), no claims and clean license. Also, no tracker required. Sadly doesn't include track days though.

Anyone know if the porsche insurance includes track days?

Trouble is though whilst the invoice cost will doubtless be up to £75k the cars value will far exceed this figure atm c £115k as the recent albeit small number of flipping cars prove...........

Ok, so because the car was advertised at £105,985, and subsequently sold (or the ad vanished), you automatically assume it sold for that premium? Come on lad, don't be naive, unless you can prove it sold for that amount, which we all know you can't, take these speculative prices with a pinch of salt.

I sense someone is trying to artificially inflate prices to flip his own!!! hmmm

I suspect we will only get an idea of pre owned prices once they start to appear on the Porsche approved site and at specialist dealers, as physical cars that are in stock and therefore need to be sold.

so with the spec of that cars it comes to around 89000euro so it would seem that they asking for around 30,900euro premium. At todays exchange rate its circa £22500 premium.

I never said I was, but your bullst is annoying, every one also thinks it is, so why post about daft inflated prices unless you want to gain from them ?

NO surprise you own a GT3 and quoted daft prices , then on the Spyder thread, now GT4 prices at £115k

NO surprise AGAIN ! you have managed to get all 3 even though you said only if PDK !!!

I find it pretty sad how some people on this thread choose to speak to others. Remember guys, everybody has the right to their opinions!

1. Can I suggest you don't try and speak for 'everyone' when you're clearly wrong.

2. Not sure you're well-placed to be challenging the opinions of others when your constantly talking about PDK gearboxes being boring yet your dream car is a Ferrari with a twin clutch gearbox....

3. Not long to wait until you get your GT4 and you can tell us how much better your "home-made" car is...

I was offered a brand new one (would be the second owner but first to drive it) for £103k a couple of weeks ago. Really good spec club sport car with lightweight buckets. I think list was about £78k. Turned it down as it was too much IMHO but I'm sure somebody bought it. £115k is dreamland. Will be able to get a 991.2 GT3 for that money in a year or so...

No. Is this from your dealer? When did you confirm your spec, etc?
