I never said I was, but your bullst is annoying, every one also things it is, so why post about daft inflated prices unless you want to gain from them ?
1. Can I suggest you don't try and speak for 'everyone' when you're clearly wrong.2. Not sure you're well-placed to be challenging the opinions of others when your constantly talking about PDK gearboxes being boring yet your dream car is a Ferrari with a twin clutch gearbox....
3. Not long to wait until you get your GT4 and you can tell us how much better your "home-made" car is...
Thing is if Mr D can read as badly as he writes and spells this will fall on deaf ears....

I was offered a brand new one (would be the second owner but first to drive it) for £103k a couple of weeks ago. Really good spec club sport car with lightweight buckets. I think list was about £78k. Turned it down as it was too much IMHO but I'm sure somebody bought it. £115k is dreamland. Will be able to get a 991.2 GT3 for that money in a year or so...
I believe we may have been offered the same car, and from what I understand, it is still for sale (well, as much as a speculative sale is for sale!) and everyone so far has laughed in their face!PorscheGT4 said:

IF you can read my post it was clearly in response to Cymario who was concerned about insurance value.....so entirely relevant and nothing to do with 'daft inflated prices'.I have posted details of the yellow car so members can see for themselves and assess what THEY think the car is worth. Ignorance of this could be an expensive mistake if under insured.
Anyway, it wasn t long ago you were the one considering flipping for what you said was a £25k premium....your words not mine. As requested previously, please do reveal your flipping intentions.......::

Hang on though, with all due respect, you've changed your position entirely and now ask that owners consider what they think the car is worth, versus you claiming fact on what they are selling for:av185 said:
Trouble is though whilst the invoice cost will doubtless be up to £75k the cars value will far exceed this figure atm c £115k as the recent albeit small number of flipping cars prove...........

Also this bullst which sold straightaway c 3 weeks back. Comfort too. (image of advert at £105,985)
Can we at least be more genuine here, and just suggest that owners consider how much they insure the car for based on their findings, and not claims of fact that cannot be backed up. It may make sense to some to over-inflate the price, but ultimately the owner is the one that pays a premium to the insurer as a result.av185 said:

you stated GT4's selling for £115k , end of ! has nothing to do with my bad mistyping and spelling, but if people want to take the piss out of that then so be it, I can take that on the chin, have done for 46 years.I have posted details of the yellow car so members can see for themselves and assess what THEY think the car is worth. I also said if some one offered me £25k over I would NOT be able to turn down that money and would flip it, shock no one offering me £25k over yet.
£115k would be a £40k over for a high spec car at £75k, or £35k over for a high spec car with PCCB.

Could I ask a sensible question here. Ignoring whether true or not for a second, should the rumours of a PDK GT4 materialise (and soon), would you consider it to sell out instantly, even if it is a PDK and not PDK-S box? I expect a PDK may take more of a hit long term over a Manual, but surely it wouldn't be vastly different if numbers are similar? I'm a Manual man for the most part, but in a sports car, I would consider PDK...if Porsche make a decent one?

Great spec for a road car. I've gone the same way with the seats. Find them comfortable and usable for the road and need some comfort at my advanced age and having spent the last 5 years in a GT3 clubsport. Left out PCM though as mobiles now have possibly better apps and instead went for CDR+ which according to the latest configurator notes includes digital radio (although these notes on CDR+ have changed in the past!!).Sorry that I'm a bit late to the party, but I confirmed my spec. today and I'm really keen to hear all of your thoughts! If you've already tried them for an extended period then fine, but from my perspective the bucket seats are made for this car, are extremely supportive but also extremely comfortable for extended road use.Anyway, what do you think?! (Be nice!)

I have gone the PO3 folding buckets because there comfort over distance is proven with me whereas my brief encounter with the 918 style felt not as comfortableGassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
