This is the first (new) car I've bought since the abolition of the tax disc. Does the price of the car include the first year's tax, still? Or do we have to fund that?
you fund that £925 inc reg fee

Thanks. I don't have my paperwork to hand so as to check what I've paid for; are you saying that the £925 you mention is already included in the 'on the road' price? Or that it's an additional sum I should expect to pay on the day of collection?

Popped over to take a look at mine at the dealers on Saturday and it has arrived with the Cup 2's fitted, phew!

On the insurance side, Mannings quote has been the most expensive quote, £1300 but has full trackday cover, A-Plan £675. I will be doing trackdays and never bothered about insurance before and used Moris when I have been to the ring.

Congrats! I bet you're over the moon! I'm getting impatient, now...

Do you know if the Michelin vs Dunlop scenario is something that the OPCs have control over? As in, should I call mine to ensure I get what I want?!

OPC won t have any control over which tyres.....likely to be Michelins for most UK cars which also applied to the GT3.

One rebuttal, then I'll stay on topic.

Says it all. It's always best to fight on a level playing field (if not one tilted in your favour). Before getting into a war of words with cmoose you need to learn English and clear thinking. And, by the way, I happen to agree with the moose's views on cars.
Not a bad idea to have your own views on things rather than just suck up to someone on here
It's not possible simply to agree with someone?

Oh and if by the way you are going to say something in a similar way and say a pher should learn English, so should you. Starting a sentence after a full stop with a conjunction that you have done shows a very poor grasp too.
It was an intentional and known mannerism.

"...that you have done..."? I rest my case.

No Baldy I was purely pointing out id actually owned the cars (fact) so was better experienced to compare rather than you who gets the occasional drive and who's regular wheels is a 10yr old basic cayman.
Not that there is anything wrong with that but your lecturing becomes tiresome to all on here.

Your reaction to my comment of actual ownership was aggressive purely as I pointed out a fact you disliked. Get over it IDIOT!

PS I also asked you a genuine question re thoughts on GT4 which you chose to ignore as you were off having one of your sulks. So i think we can see who really started it

I have met Scooty on a couple of occasions at car meets and track days and he is a good bloke interesting to chat to and has a wide experience of different 911's he has bought, owned and run. He also actually offered to help get me a GT4 if i wanted one which was very good of him.
Maybe its you Moose...you certainly bring out the worst in people..or maybe its the best!!

Does Scooty have some kind of special access to obtain these cars? If so, hey Scooty, best friends? wink

Yup still no reply to the genuine question I asked. Says it all .

As Berty says you argue with everyone so discussions with you are pointless on the basis you'll pick a fight and then get angry and annoyed when questioned.

Move on
