Looks like 2016 allocation has been announced.

I've just had confirmation from my OPC of my Jan build slot.

Very happy, got slightly concerned there I might not get one..

Are you sure this is an additional 2016 allocation and not just an odd spare car allocated to your dealership and/or a cancellation? Did the dealership say how many extra cars they have been allocated?

Anybody else heard similar?

Nice one. Was at my OPC Saturday and they hadn't heard anything re 2016 cars and they got allocated 8 previously . You may have been allocated a slot as someone has pulled out and you were next in the queue .

I was consistently told I wouldn't know my build slot until they got confirmation of the 2016 builds which they were expecting to be around Christmas time. I was 3rd on the list for 2016 cars, so it's not like someone has dropped out they must have had a number of drop outs (unlikely), or more allocation.

TBH I don't think I've heard of anyone else being told they had a 2016 car so it could just be waffle, would be interesting to see if any other OPCs have made contact...

I'll check next time I speak to them to see how many they've been allocated.

I was originally 1st of my OPC's 2016 allocation. I was 4th in line overall.

Back in July some 2016 slots were brought forward. At that time I was advised my car would be a November build. This has subsequently been delayed and now my car is anticipated for Feb 16 (because of CS pack).

Sounds like this is the remnants of the batch of 2016 cars.

Some slots were brought forward because of special paint orders, but I believe an allocation of 2016 slots are still due; maybe have just been announced, trying to find out, but I don't like my chances.

I was quoted October delivery then delayed until week 47 with CS and LWB.

64 litre fuel tank
PCCM
Leather interior stitching in platinum grey
Rear wing supports in black
Climate control

Silver grey seat belts
Centre console trim in leather
Porsche crest on centre console lid
Sound package plus
Mobile phone prep
Digital radio

I seem to have been very lucky as I was originally told by the dealer that delivery could be up to 4 months from the build date in October because of PTS

Yes I hope so. Took some time to decide on birch green- difficult as had to base the choice on photos alone.

The dealer encouraged me to go for it and hopefully I've made the right choice!

I have a Nov build with lwb and cs due Dec and now locked down. I believe mine was one of the extra allocation released in the summer. I don't believe there are any further 2016 allocations as far as i have heard I'm afraid. ..

well there were sort of as the 1st lot was 129 cars and the 2nd lot was another 71, the issue with the long delays is they all came to one in the end.

now no one knows if they have gone over the 200 cars or not, only time will tell on that.

Do you know what the paint code is?

I wanted Birch Green when I ordered a GTS but was told the closest I could get was Light Green code 253 and this was the only photo Porsche could provide me as an example;

The paint code is 253.

Lichtgrun (light green) is the same as birch green.
