That's why spending £35 or so on a speed shape and a spray can of the colour you are considering is very worthwhile if thinking of going for PTS. It's pretty easy to do and lets you look at the colour objectively under different lighting conditions over a period of time. I've used it a number of times now to decide upon a colour and it has helped immeasurably as getting it wrong can be a costly mistake and relying upon photo's from the internet is somewhat risky.
Very smart suggestion, I'll certainly do that in future.mad ferret said:
It all depends how long it sits at the docks in Emden, mine was there nearly 2 weeks before it shipped. Once they arrive in the UK at Sheerness the delivery company have 5 working days to deliver it to the dealers.
Oh really.. interesting! I'm hoping for a 18th/19th delivery ! Fingers crossed! giles panizzi said:
Apologies for resurrecting the "insurance question"!!
With delivery in the next few weeks - where is best to go?
Cheers
I.ve tried several and the best was Porsche Insurance Services (0845 600 6502) who deal with Aviva and give a Porsche Inclusive scheme eg approved Porsche repairer, legal cover etc. Contacting Aviva direct (0800 046 6032) gave a slightly lower premium but not a special Porsche scheme. Neither needed tracker fitted. Think Porsche Insurance Services also allow trackday but this might be additional premium. Other companies I had recommended to me were much higher and needed trackers. With delivery in the next few weeks - where is best to go?
