Agree, home counties accent, strawberry blond, cashmere jumper and work shirt. Old money smile

Good luck to him, seems like a decent guy who is enthusiastic

Doesn't matter how he got the cars, he's got them. I am sure if we did a poll on how some people got the funds for there cars there would be some interesting answers smile

I watched his videos recently of picking up the 675LT and you can see the genuine excitement and enthusiasm he has for the cars.

Fair play to the guy, he gets a huge amount of views for his videos and I imagine decent ad revenue. If it helps people like him fund the cars and he gets out driving them and going to meets etc then I'm all for that!

Nice to see he's added a GT4 to his ranks. There was one having protection film applied while his 675 was in there, must have been difficult not to give the game away and say he's getting one!

This is precisely what I like about him, he's genuinely excited and appreciative of what he's able to buy and do, and you can tell it isn't just a play for the cameras. Good on him; adding a GT4 can't do any harm to the view that this is a desirable and long term strong valued car.

To those who think his Shmee's parents pay for his cars you may want to watch this, he explains all here. Hopefully this should stop the speculation

Not that I particularly care either way... but let's face it, even if his parent's were paying for the cars, he is hardly going to admit to that on youtube either is he and obviously is going to say otherwise.....

Back on topic, anyone know what has happened to selecting black arms to the spoiler (the images show silver only) and also the different seat options?

Black spoiler supports are now standard.

Can't help you with the seat question, sorry.

Insured mine through Porsche Insurance, and was told tracker required. The Aviva paperwork stipulates that needs tracker from their approved list.
Only if valued at over £75k, I am under by £14 but if I agree a replacement value over the £75k will have to get one fitted irrespective of the purchase price.

They told me they would replace the car with new yr1 - no idea where they would get one though. If they can't they would give you the value - 75k in this intance, or the value you have agreed upfront.

Competition car insurance for me! They covered my V6 Exige including 6 track days for around £600 per year. They will cover the GT4 not sure of the premium yet but I'm expecting to have to fit a tracker.

Can anyone advise the running in mileage on the GT4 from the owners manual? Spyder is 1850 miles on a similar engine which seems high compared to the 991 GT3, cheers

Ok. Mine was just under £80k so must have triggered the tracker requirement.

In the first year they try and replace with a new motor - cant see that though or give you the full value. This would be the amount agreed upfront with premium adjusted accordingly. So £75k or Like you they want about another £200 and tracker fitted if that is say £100k

That's not so good if the worst happens. Historically, I've always had the insurer churn out the old line "we only pay out market value", no matter what you tell them it's worth. That would obviously blow up in their face on the GT4. This has usually been when purchasing used cars.

Spotted it's already been discussed but picked up the GT4 this morning, and tucked it away tonight with 601 more miles on the clock - what a machine! It's been painful reading this thread for months and months without saying a word.

Route Napoleon tomorrow down to Monaco, cannot wait, this is going to be a good day!
