MDian I have a picture on my other computer that shows the 2 whites side by side at opc if interested
I looked at the two whites side by side on two cars at my OPC and preferred the standard white. It looked crisper without a very slight creaminess that the carrara white had. But, as always, personal taste. Need to look at them both in daylight not in showroom light.

but future resale and looks every one will want 918 seats, in the new cars, that's a given no one really wants seats from 2010 in the new look GT4's ! or worst chairs !!
My 997.1 GT3 (sadly missed,) had 18 way seats. The sole reason the new owner went for my car over one at 911V was because it was comfort not clubsport spec.

There will be a buyer for every car on the 2nd hand market. No prospective owner should waste a second worrying about seats and resale value.

MDian your CR would most certainly have been non metallic carrara white.
CW metallic in dull light does have a hint of grey/silver which I quiet like as adds another dimension of colour yet in bright light it is a very crisp white and not dull kitchen utility white of plain carrara white!
Those 2 cars side by side should be on here somewhere as someone posted 3-4 pics about a month ago!

CWM car on right with platinum wheels and carrara white on left with black wheels
The carrara white in the first pic looks brighter as it has the sun on most of the car!

I thought PCCB's were just for those wanting yellow calipers and less brake dust biggrin
I guess so. Its not like they reduce stopping distances or something, is it?

The smiley face, come on guys!!!!

Thanks for the side by side pics of the whites, I think I'd need to see them in the flesh as like you say, one is in the shade! One things for sure, from photos, I prefer the black wheels, but obviously I'll be looking at cars in RL before making any decisions (on a car I don't yet have a build slot for!)

In the end I went for bog standard white. Whilst you can see a difference when they're sat side-by-side, in isolation, they both look like ...... white smile

This car is truly phenomenal!

I've done many miles now on tight twisty mountain roads and I just can't get my head around how good it is; how precise you can be, how the gear ratios are set to require just the right amount of changes, the short throw when you do shift, and the sound that comes with it bouncing off the rock surfaces.

It's also the presence the car has and the way it sits low and aggressive; clearly something special!

I don't think they do reduce stopping distances. Tyre grip will be the limiting factor.

There are other benefits though ;>

Tyres not the limiting factor, but every one on here always says that.

Tyres are the ultimate limiting factor. As soon as the ABS kicks in, theres nothing more that can be done.

Unless you have brake fade. And if you can induce brake fade on a modern Porsche then you are a VERY accomplished driver OR you are using the brakes incorrectly.

Just wasn't inspired by any of the standard colours. I'd have happily paid for and accepted a further delay to get Viper Green.

With the GT4, the lower unsprung weight of ceramics is the main benefit. Anyone driven both on a 4 on the road to compare the steering and bump response?

That will look stunning! I'll drop you a line when ours gets in. Have a little Cheshire meet up.
Let me know too, would love to have a look at your motors before hopefully getting a build slot myself; help me decide on colours and spec!!!!
My friends guards red car was delivered to Wilmslow yesterday, he collects on Monday. Mine arrives in a few weeks... should definitely arrange a meet up smile
Is his red one in the showroom this weekend?

Our build is locked and have a build date of 16th November. Meet up in early December?

I try not to laugh at the expense of my partner but this is a corker.

He just asked me if the GT4's top speed is limited. At least that's what he was trying to ask me. What he actually said was "do we need to get the car de-motivated?" To which I replied (in a stern voice), look at you, try hard GT car, always the bridesmaid (or her hairdresser), never the bride, beetle with delusions of grandeur , not even a proper Porsche.

A few years ago when I had my Scirocco TDi 170 remapped he asked me if it had been "chip & pinned"
Like a credit card.
