You know! I think I'll try warming the car up with the sport button off, it might just make a difference
It sounds like it just might help. Do please report back...You know! I think I'll try warming the car up with the sport button off, it might just make a difference
Someone was asking about required engine temp before giving it the beans. 60 degrees C [oil, not water] seems the recommended level for TVRists.

Apparently if you press the sport button it improves cooling, and therefor it would take a bit longer for the car to warm up. I would suggest driving in "normal" mode with the button off until the car reaches operating temperature!
I was always taught that rear or mid engine cars would suffer if cold water from the front was suddenly released into the cooling system. Perhaps letting it warm up with the sport button on is the safer option especially in winter conditions.Steve

I have a significant medical reason post retinal surgery to have sensors and I expressed my desire to have them fitted to OPC and PCGB who basically wouldn't accommodate me. Oh and in the spirit of service, I was warned that I could invalidate my warranty with after market fitting.

There are a few other threads on this. The PCM in the 991 is basically the same as that in the 981.

I was apprehensive about the colour but it looks fantastic!
I am collecting on 2nd Jan for 2016 registration and then having it detailed and glass coated by Miglior detailing

I dropped the outlaws at Bristol Airport yesterday and dropped in - I saw your car and took some pics, it really looks fantastic in the white and red combo, well done on a great spec. Not too many have gone for white it seems but i think its one of the best colours. I didn't notice if yours was solid of metallic?
