I agree.
The 718 platform name change had to happen (rather than 981.2) is because it's a different platform to accommodate the F4. There's no going back to F6 unless they keep the 981 chassis going for the sake of future GT/Spyder variants.
has it not been mentioned in the past that although there will be turbo flat 4s they will make a flat 6 na as well in the top model ie gts which a gt4 could be spawned from? The 718 platform name change had to happen (rather than 981.2) is because it's a different platform to accommodate the F4. the way I was reading it was the 718 boxster/cayman were the next generation not 981.2 or are they going to run alongside the 981.2 giving the former f4 turbo and latter f6 na?manufactures have had no problems in the past with different size engines in same chassis vw corrado springs to mind v6 or 4cyl na or supercharged!

Hi, has anyone used Justin at Exclusive Car Care in North Wiltshire for paint detailing and PPF fitting?
They are local to me and thinking of using for GT4
Justin's one of the UK's finest detailers so I'd highly recommend him. I'm a Pro Detailer and would happily let him work on my GT3 They are local to me and thinking of using for GT4

Got a response from another known GT4 independent dealer. They believe the market will slow slightly and existing premiums won't last, but still expect strong residuals. However, you can tell they don't specialise entirely in Porsches because they said the must have options are cage, heated race seats and sports chrono
Jzm are being offered 2/3 GT4's a day by people with Jan/Feb/March build slots... More sellers enquiries than buyers enquiries so current premiums asked can only go one way, at least until all the speculators are out and the cars end up with enthusiast/longer term holdersPorscheGT4 said:
why do you keep talking to odd companies about resale ?
Have you decided not to keep it now you have finally got a slot ?
I'm keeping, but keen to monitor the market and what buyers demand, just to evaluate what options would be sensible to tick at this stage. I know they say spec the car for yourself, but if a year or two down the line I need to sell, then I want to give myself the best opportunity. I run a business, I deal in assets, buy low, sell high, just the way my brain is wired, can't help researching to death...then I can enjoy! Have you decided not to keep it now you have finally got a slot ?
