Justin's one of the UK's finest detailers so I'd highly recommend him. I'm a Pro Detailer and would happily let him work on my GT3 smile
Thanks!

nope don't run cheap st.

I run V-Power Nitro+ 99 RON fuel :-p

it's still a crazy price at 99p imo becasue oil is so cheap ie 2003 levels and in 2003 petrol was 76p we pay far to much, tax, duty and VAT on fuel in the UK :-(

I thought v power was only 98 and only the sh*t Tesco special was 99!
But still petrol being cheap no excuse for not getting the car run in quick for spring time!
No one has answered my query on the use of car in below 7* in the manual?

it's ok, the tyres feel hard and it give you loads of under steer, but you can use it.

I was out at 5oc in the Spyder with my CUP2's late the other night was good fun :-)

people just need to be a bit care full, I also had the dunlops they are far worse in the cold than the cup2's and seem to go harder when cold.

weather is looking quite warm for dec though :-)

When I did the pec day it was very wet and only about 8*c but the gt4 inspires confidence (more so than my old spyder)and only gets out of shape when pushing or clumsy! But like any high performance car it should be treated with respect in cold wet conditions.

Our local BP is still selling premium at £1.16 so I doubt I'll see 99p for a while!

Recently I had my Cayman race car on the dyno testing primary and secondary manifold lengths. I inadvertently filled it up with Tesco 99 Octane fuel after doing all the initial work on V-power. Immediately we lost power and torque as the knock sensors were kicking in significantly earlier. I had to drain it out and refill with Vpower whereupon normal service was resumed. I was very surprised at how significant a difference it was. I would have expected it to be unmeasurable.
Only one test with fuel from one source but interesting nonetheless.

I can only get Murco or Texaco gas in my immediate area, have only put Texaco super-unleaded in my GT4 so far, anybody care to comment on this fuel?.Slightly perplexed on fuel use so far, lucky to get 20mpg and that's running it in at max 4000rpm,my old 997 carrera s would average an easy 24mpg.

More important to never let the car run low on fuel or attempt to overfill (to round the number up) than which super you put in it, imo.

718 = New Boxster / Cayman but now the Boxster is the dearer model will that mean Porsche madness will continue by giving the Boxster the extra 10 bhp!

Hats off to Porsche for having this madness run for so long but now the correction is taking place have they exposed their marketing arm to some well deserved ridicule laughlaugh
