996 Turbo - Expensive?
Discussion
2001, 85k miles, £32,995 on a private sale!
see ad on PH here:

"Appreciating asset, better than your ISA and a vast amount of car for the money.
Priced to sell; we all know what these are going to be worth one day and the prices are rising steadily - I'm buying a yacht so could do with the cash."
I realize they're in demand at present and prices are holding firm but?
Perhaps the 3 and the 2 are the wrong way round

Its not that expensive its lot of car for around 30k.
The seller has taken the trouble, to find a nice location for the photos.
Unlike some people's adverts out on the street no effort at all is made.
If someone is looking for one, would be worth a look I would think?
Looking around at the market, they are going for that price.
If I was looking for a one, would go have a look. However happy with what I have for now.
As with most car what you think its worth, and what you get may not always be the same?

Low mile cars are not necessarily better though.
Sure the car is over priced and good luck with the sale and yes the advert in terms of wording but the pics are great, car looks lovely IMO.
Buy on condition.
What you said Sure the car is over priced and good luck with the sale and yes the advert in terms of wording but the pics are great, car looks lovely IMO.
Buy on condition.
1) Is service book stamped every 12 months, and who with?
2) Is there 1 or 2 folders full of invoices for work, again, who did the work?
3) Colours interior / exterior.
The nmileage.........for me anyway.

Sure agree 100% but you could have assumed/inferred "all else being the same".Sure the car is over priced and good luck with the sale and yes the advert in terms of wording but the pics are great, car looks lovely IMO.

Buy the same car for less money.
The only thing wrong with the car is the price and that's the whole point of the thread.
But maybe not as far from reality as this one...

Not so sure if you compare the silly air-cooled prices such as 993 Turbo's for example, in relative terms its a lot of car for the money.......http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p...
How many cars available with those miles?
supply and demand and all that.
Edited to state I wouldn't pay that but that's beside the point

yep that would certainly add a few grand onto the price....

It shows effort to sell the car, unlike some people on a street road outside a lock up etc.
As for price each to their own everybody wants a good deal.
