I really like design details like that.
I'm with cmoose on the 996 design, there's more to it than most give it credit for. It may not have won universal acclaim, but it's nicely proportioned and it's aged well imo (in both adorned and unadorned form)

Put bluntly, if anyone needed them on a 996, they probably shouldn't have been driving one in the first place ....... AG's very discreet way of indicating to the wider world that a numpty was behind the wheel ...... biggrin

15 pages of my car is better than your (very similar) car :-)

Of course the 996 gets more stick than most and it makes mine sooooo sad:

Actually I take it back, vanilla 996 does look ok..... in black shot in twilight !!!
