They seem to be more expensive in Europe than 997.2RS. How come in the UK it's the other way round?

Good point.. Germany was the first place i saw the 6RS creep up to £100k tag in late 2012.. half a dozen straight cars then came on there for £100-120k and sold very quickly within the following months into early 2013.. Since the the supply in Germany has been very limited, way more cars have come onto the UK market since then at similar/more money. Not too sure on the 7.2 question Lee, maybe they have more than the 100 C16 cars to choose from as the ring car park is always stuffed with them!?

So almost the same as 7.2RS in RHD. So out of about 670 odd 6RSs produced if as many as 100 came to the UK, they are less rare in RHD form than LHD relative to the equivalent population. Maybe that's why they haven't overtaken 7.2RSs yet in this country as they are not far more rare. I'm sure in the longer term they will though as they are now beginning to feel more "classics" whereby 997s are more "modern classics" imo.

If this crazy trend drags the more vanilla 6 GT3 values along with it, I will have to rethink my insurance again confused

Means you will see ever fewer cars on the road. In a few years will anyone track them, will Porsche race them?
