PCM V.3 Upgrade

Could anybody enlighten me on the best way to get the latest upgrade on v.3 presently fitted to a late 996?

go into dealer use the £150 upgrade option and let them do it including new maps and everything....

Sadly my OPC aren't playing. The deal is for post-09 models according to them.

Anybody got any other ideas??

While it is targeted at a 997 it specifically states for PCM 3.0/3.1 which is what you have. So I can't see how you can't order the above part number to update your PCM irrespective of the year etc...

I'd have thought the cheap upgrade is just targeting PCM3, as in the hardware. Older PCM1 and PCM2 is a different matter. I expect OP has V3 software.
