Wonderful day and the weather was kind right until near the end when there was a drop in temp and a touch of drizzle. I had the track to myself for alittle while and the Cup 2's handled it well although I did get black flagged again for 108DB. I will be removing the Pumaspeed bypass and going standard again next week. I will miss it on the road I know but the other 991 GT3's had no problems with the 105DB limit.
Unbelievable selection of incredible cars including a stunning Yellow Carrera GT showing 54,000 miles on the clock which made me smile a lot. The Owner said its been bulletproof in the 15000 miles he's owned it.
6 991 GT3's in 5 different colours, a handful of 997 GT3RS's, some lovely gen 1 and gen 2 GT3's, 996 RS's and some fabulous 70's cars.
Was that yellow one an RSR? It was a beauty and the sound was just superb as it passed me
Mid morning about 30 cars arrived and lined up side by side at the back of the paddock which made a great back drop. Some real beauties there too. The RUF being my favourite.
Thanks to Discocolin who was very generous with his knowledge and there seemed to be lots of photographers about so I hope we get to see some great pics of the day.
Next stop is Ty Croes tomorrow, I will be short shifting at 7K rpm to avoid any flags
see you there

Any technical reason why the CGT always came close to the pit wall when exiting the corner?
Everyone else seemed to keep out to the left.
By applying the least amount of lock, it's the quickest line? I've only done one day there in mine but that was one area I felt was quicker by taking that line. The double apex was the other which a lot of people seemed to avoid. That double is a cracking slingshot with that camber at apex 1.Everyone else seemed to keep out to the left.

The line I was shown was coming out of deer leap, a little lock will take you to the right of the pit straight, and then an arc back to the left side of the track to set up for old hall. Everyone else seemed to keep out to the left.
