That must have been fantastic . I'm making the pilgrimage to classic Daytona and Sebring this year to race the BRUMOS . I'm very excited !
Doom - think a few of us are making the journey to RSR 2015 at Laguna Seca later in the year. Any plans to do that? Some drunken conversations about taking the 964 RSR out there though nothing further discussed. Be good to hook up if you are.Cheers.

No worries - the Targa Florio photo got me all excited - thought we had pictures of both ends of the same journey, plus evidence the AFN parts van had driven all the way from Islesworth to Sicily ! Is your car the ex Paddy MacNally motor? If yes you might like the photo below - again with another famours AFN van and GVB 911D on show: (thx to Alan Giddins for pic)
...would be great to recreate this at Goodwood MM73 !
Cheers, Will
Great photo,no my car was ex de udy of which i dedicated a great lot of time researching the history of.Great cars, but fairly dangerous to race, its the only car i had put two fire extinguisher systems into!...would be great to recreate this at Goodwood MM73 !
Cheers, Will

Welcome to posting on PH and fine lurking! Lovely car. I hope that towing eye has never been used?
Towing eye never used (in my 12 years anyway!)
I have to agree with what was said previously regarding under-estimated power.. The car still goes like a train.. (no engine rebuild, mods, etc.)
Love it and hope to keep it forever!

I asked JZM to email me when a decent 964 or 993 came in, under 35k. I am sensing I may missed the boat... I reckon I can afford the steering wheel of that blue car with my budget!
This looks great value.http://www.rpmspecialistcars.co.uk/sales/view/116

My biggest regret is selling my 964.
1991 C2, manual, no sunroof, no rear wiper - as close to a 964RS as I'll ever get.
It was my only car so I used it for everything: commuting, trackdays, trips to the dump, Le Mans etc.
I was skint at the time and needed the money so had no choice.
I've hated myself ever since.

Have to agree, mine was a C2 , no sunroof, sports seat, Haywood and Scott pipe, RS clutch and flywheel, H&R suspension. I loved this car, it's still in the country I think and I would love to know how it's getting on.1991 C2, manual, no sunroof, no rear wiper - as close to a 964RS as I'll ever get.
