Black looks good but probably just when its clean and goes with all black GTS styling touches. I finally chose Agate grey and no regretts - looks really classy and should look good even when bit dirty .Considered sapphire blue but saw it in flesh and doesn't work for me. Think GT silver would look good but extra £1k and same colour as my old car so passed on that. Carrera Red would also be nice choice for me but ruled out as wife doesn't like red. Rhodium silver just looks a bit too bright for my taste ? Just look at some cars and choose!

I had a lot of trouble choosing between agate grey and dark blue metallic on my BGTS order. I thought both went well with the black with red GTS interior (also with red hood). Having seen both colours under good light, I've plumped for the blue. The grey looks classy but I see sooooo many 991s and 981s in it that it put me off, I wanted something a bit rarer.

I think I'd go Guards Red on a 991 GTS....it will show up the differences bespoke to the model.

I went black on my 2.7 981 Cayman...to disguise the differences between mine and the higher models!!!

Well I've decided to go for the grey. Having seen the demo it was an easy decision over white (very show-boaty) or black (too much like the batmobile!)

late March delivery!!

For a 105-120k car I would pay the extra for a PTS colour its only £2.5k.

Its all subjective, the only thing that would be non-negotiable for me would be to have the wheels painted in silver by the OPC prior to delivery.

Great colour and goes well with black wheels, similar combination to the C4S I picked up last week. Seems to hide the dirt better that by old black 997T.

I was tempted by the GTS, but found a C4S with PowerKit at dealers and went for that....

I bought an M4. Utter piece of garbage which I offloaded in six weeks. Awful steering, wobbly chassis, too stiff, poor power delivery which meant it was shocking in anything but the dry and archaic traction control which couldn't be left on as it cut the power so often. And the interior squeaked. Avoid at all cost....
Didn't you test drive the M4? confused

Was that by any chance at Porsche East London? Looks eerily similar to a demo car I sat in a few days ago!

Yeah, he did something similar to me in December! Really obliging guy. I may have fettled with my interior spec once or twice post-order...

Mine's batmobile black, anyway, and a March build also. Maybe see you up there on collection day!

Black leather and alcantara with leather seats. Went back and forth on the GTS pack but in the end decided against, in part because Mrs Rat does not care for deviated stitching. Went for carbon trim and a couple of extra leathery bits instead, plus white dials and red seat belts just to give it a bit of a lift.

Yourself?

Niiice!!

Spec is listed on page 2 of this thread - only change is colour. I Went for the GTS interior pack but tweaked the steering wheel back to leather as the alcantara gets a sticky/shiny with time IMHO.

Oops missed that. Looks great.

Should also say that mine's a cab, which is why I went for the vented leather seats. Though the alcantara seat centres do look the business. Is a tough call!

My tuppence, Agate doesn't't suit the whole GTS thing IMHO. Gotta be red black or white!

Enjoy.

How to piss on somebody's parade in one fell swoop! This sort of tuppence is one to keep to yourself when somebody's just ordered a £100k new car in that colour - my tuppence wink

If you were buying one and had looked at other colour combos you may think otherwise?
Agate is best but black or red works as well. Full leather would normally be my first choice but alcantara centres look great on this car and against my better judgement must admit that red stitching works and really glad that dropped silver stitching even though less brash . Had silver stitching on my old 997 and not reall y very noticeable . Surely drive and engine and noise it makes is what it's all about and not colours or stitching?looking forward to March when my car arrives ( leaves factory 8th Feb). Have ordered telescopic security bollard at weekend to make it harder to steal it when it arrives - wife not impressed. rolleyes

LOL! Each to their own. I considered black and white (like the red however NOT the bright red and Carmine red is an additional £1801 which IMHO is too much for that colour). After seeing the demo (picture in the thread) I just fell in love with it.

Looking forward to collection. Considering collecting it from the factory, but we'll see.

Cheers

Congratulations, it's a lovely car and a great spec! I loved my 997 GTS and I'm trying the 991 GTS this weekend. Would definitely consider factory collection if I get the new one. Should be a great experience.

Reckon you'll love it. It feels like such an event to drive, but seems totally useable every day. Agate was my second choice after black btw. Think the GTS lends itself well to stealth...
