Sorry, just seen this reply! Thanks for the nice words, the letters were bought from ebay, I cant find the seller I used as it was a LONG time ago but here is a seller selling a similar product.

The letters I have were just the shaped cut out of red acrylic then stuck on the wall using Velcro

I love this thread but due to travel and other more boring stuff I haven't posted until now. If you look carefully there is a little Porsche in between the daily driver and fast Fiat so I think I can legitimately post this pic of probably the messiest garage posted until now in the Porsche section...
Hey Hamid! Great collection. Hope you've managed to stretch the Fiat's legs at the Autodrome. Post a pic of the 944 in the UK if you've still got it...Thanks Harris, collection is not finished yet...
Took the Scud on the Autodrome and it was fantastic...I just about remembered the lines you showed me a few years back! Will be back frequently I think.
The 944 had to go unfortunately but will dig up a pic anyway.
See you when you are next in Dxb.

Quite an eclectic bunch in mine. The MK Indy R is at a friends house for the moment and the Jag and Lotus are in storage until the 2nd garage block is finished. Build thread here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
For now the Porsches, Ferrari, Model A and Alfa are in the main garage, my E92M3 is in the trailer (BJ RT4) and the two Mercs live out back anyway.

thank you. i race it in Peter Auto's Classic Endurance Racing. these are 1 hour races on great European tracks (eg Paul Ricard, Dijon, Mugello, Spa, Monza etc) for protos and gt cars between 1968 and 1979. it is pretty competitive and there are a number of 3.0l rsr, 2.8rsr as well as 935s. Great fun. here is a picture of the car in period
That's so fantastic
I'd love to see her .
I'm hoping to race a Brumos 2.8 at a few rounds . I'll come over and say hello .
I warn you I get very excited around vehicles like that and apologise in advance for squeaks and giggles .
I'm off to search you tube for videos of the car in action
Thank you

the 3.0 l rsr has an excellent chassis which dominates the experience. engine is strong and with 330 ps for just over 900kg it feels brisk enough but you wish at times you would have more power as chassis is so good. in contrary to eg a 2.8rsr you can drive the 3.0l la bit more like a modern car. for example you can trailbrake into corners. a cup car feels much heavier but engine and esp gearbox are mega. you can not slide them and they feel very understeery at first unless you trailbrake aggressively into corners. for me the cup car has a better engine and gearbox than chassis relatively speaking whils the 3.0l rsr has better chassis than engine. both are great packages so we are talking point of details here. best,
