In the process of designing a house for a client that wants to see his cars while entertaining. No oil droppers in the garage smile

That bloody Turbo again cloud9cloud9cloud9cloud9

It's just stunning !

I know I'll be branded a heretic forevermore, but that Turbo with a nice revvy 3.5 N/A lump on MFi or a modern ECU and ITB's would be about as good as it gets.

Love a 355. Had a stunning GTS and had the best summer months driving it. Good box ticked

Jeez, that overhead shot really is a good example of how much the 991 has "stretched" over a 997, or is it some kind of photographic perspective effect?

I am sure there are others on here who know more both about the technical specs of the cars and the science of photography. However, a quick look on Google just now suggests the two cars are the same width (excluding mirrors), but that the 991 is about 9cm longer. The apparent difference in width of the cars in the photo may be partly to do with the way the front wings are fully flared on the 991, compared to the wheel arch extensions on the 997…but it may indeed have something to do with the fact that I took the photo on an iPhone in poor lighting whilst leaning precariously out of the garage loft room window, with the 991 being slightly closer to me than the 997 as I did so…

Thanks. I only bought it a year ago, and have been very lucky with current prices. Never thought I'd see the day when my car was worth loads more after having it a year, and after having such fun in it. Glad I went for the last of the manuals. smile

Yes I have to say my GT3 is the only car that I've ever bought that's appreciated. Very odd , usually I get absolutely shafted smile
