it's a manual car imo
GT3 does the PDK thing well with more BHp and PDK-S
As I posted in the other thread, PDK does NOT = short ratio's they are still long !
So no real performance gain , just nicer in rush hour
The PDK has shorter ratios (not short enough) and with the faster shifts you will have a performance gain, if that is your priority. If they give it the PDK-S I will change my order, but not for the regular PDK. GT3 does the PDK thing well with more BHp and PDK-S

it's a 1/10 th second gain on gear change in 1 direction that's it, shorter manual ratio would gain you over 1/2 second to 60 etcI cannot give a **** about 1/10th second which then makes the car dull !!

No it will be same amount of cars but just Pdk added to the options list!
The cars are sold out. I would guess half of them are already delivered. Why would they offer a PDK option to the other half which already bought a manual car?Porsche is no charity, there will be new allocations if there will be a PDK version.

Not sure what's more dull on a mountain pass, a responsive PDK or a manual with one usable gear (2nd). When I testdrove the GT4 around local mountains I found that 1st is too short to use before corner entry and 2nd too long on corner exit. Very frustrating.Edited by EricE on Sunday 30th August 21:04

Seriously doubt that. Why would they incur the development cost to offer a PDK option on a load of cars they have already sold? Makes no sense. If it's true that PDK is coming for the GT4, there will be more cars. Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
