Oh yes.....that reminds me......and what happened to the recently advertised Bournemouth OPC and Scottish OPC cars.......former up at £180k, latter was it £169k?

They have sold.
Are you sure the Bournemouth £180k car sold? I know it was on SOR so maybe the owner withdrew from sale? I'll find out tomorrow for sure and post back smile

Gt3 owners here's a thought- if you are lucky enough to own one go drive the fuc#in thing! No point selling as prices still haven't settled. Weathers ok Sunday so press 'log out' and go use them. :-)
Couldn't agree more - it's tedious - bottom line is more are available than previously and as such prices have softened and will then firm up again when less are available - it really isn't rocket science . Also election driven serious negative correction will now not happen.

They are just great cars - not investments , let's stop all this price horse s**t - Owners use them , perspective owners , buy or not , now or later , not a problem either way smile

And some colour ??????

And some jelly beans....

...what's the best roads you've explored in yours ?
Bealach.
Damn me the red one looks so good! but then so does the blue one and the yellow specially the green in fact all of them! Scotland has the best roads , don't think we will bother with the Alps again.
To Steve and Louise thanks again for organising an epic trip.
I cannot imagine owning any other car as awesome as our GT3!!

I've been thinking about the jelly beans. Maybe they are Opal Fruits - weren't they 'made to make your mouth water'? smile

What great pictures. Good to see the cars being enjoyed. But I reckon owners like you are in the minority - the 38 cars currently for sale on PH alone, suggest most are speculators/dealers with an eye on the value rather the rev counter. And they are the ones who have kept the car out of the hands of people who really enjoy them, so I have no sympathy if they turn out to be sitting on a fast depreciating asset.
Serious buyers know the market is around early one hundred and forties for a private deal for the right car and seems to be softening by the week, so are unlikely to rush in at present. Although that might change now the track day season is underway.

+1 Spot on with one exception ... 44 adverts on PH alone, not 38. yikes

Never in history have that many GT3s of one mark ever been advertised at the same time !

But it is 38 not 44 when you've stripped out the LHD, RS and wanted ads.

Why have you got such a bee in your bonnet about GT3's?

Its simple. Prices will fluctuate with supply and demand but one thing that doesn't change is just how awesome the 991 GT3 is and how little competition it has at any of its price points between list of 101k and top asking prices seen of 180K.

Yes, sorry you are correct. When you get time can you calculate the total GT3 adverts on PH by including non-duplicated cars under the '911 Carrera [911]' moniker too?

There is one more car in that section.

Been to Shelsey Walsh breakfast club in ours today. Never ceases to amaze in every respect. Pound for pound nothing else gets close. Having driven a few miles now apart from traffic we are always in manual and use the paddles. The sensation of approaching fast corners while firing down through three or four gears and exiting with the sound of that engine whipping round to the red line is something that I never tire of . What a car !! smokin

250 miles for me today, to get to St Mellion International Golf Resort in Cornwall for a few days of golf with friends.

Great drive and the car remains fabulous, but I picked up a heavy stone chip which has evolved into a large crack so I will need a new windscreen ASAP.

Does anyone have any experience with who Porsche use to change windscreens, as I assume that with the built-in radio antenna and rain sensors etc mean that a specialist screen is required that won't necessarily be available 'off the shelf'.

I'll call my insurance company tomorrow to find out what my options are!

Pity about your screen S....these things happen unfortunately.

Seem to recollect you are possibly with Admiral who I believe now accept OPC fitted official Porsche screens at no extra cost and without penalty to the insured.

You will most likely have the standard 991 GT3 fitted grey top tint so worth checking that spec windscreen prior to fitting.

Blast.... and blast again... oooooooo !!!!

Bit of drama there, more describing feeling as the throttle was slammed hard to the floor on exiting Taylors at Knockhill ! first outing on track with the GT3 and omg ! It's insane. Good turn out of fellow GT3s and lots of fine driving and the weather held up mostly smile

Thanks Mate - I have to say Admiral have been exceptional on a recent claim on my station car and for my wife's car last year, so hopefully this will be a fairly smooth process.

If the windscreen is specced and ordered from the chassis number, it will be like-for-like.
