They still pop up occasionally for sale - you just got to look hard- got this one end of last year, C2 manual, but rising prices are making a lot of people keep them at moment. I expect most are waiting to see where the price increase will stop. Last of an era so this one is a keeper.

Scott.

One thing that has amused me since I started looking in 2005 is that whilst as I understand it far more NB's were made than WB's, the latter are far easier to find (in good condition). Least based on non empirical evidence that's the way it seems. I can but assume WB's come up more often due to their value & have been kept as low milers more often. This in my eyes has been the case for the past ten years.

The S and 4S are marmite. The fact is that they are heavier and slower than the NB Carreras. Yes the 4S has the turbo brakes but that just makes it heavier still!

Its a shame they didnt put the powerkit on them as standard.

However, by eck they are gorgeous!

Don't normally like the RS look but that looks lovely.

...so MTR how many did they make? According to PCGB there were 857 manual RHD imported to the UK.

Don't say things like that. When he reads what you have put, the first thing he'll do is a large GULP.

Then the tentative asking of 'WHY?' eek

This is the problem with the (internet-instant, no context) written word.

Did I mean:

or was it

Orangecurry in a very matter-of-fact way and only because the OP lives in Scotland said:

I only wanted a NB, I personally prefer them, they're more 'delicate' looking and more like the original, which I wanted as close to as possible. All IMO of course!

I still stand by my comment that good NB's are harder to get hold of, as they have been for 10 years.
