What we have here, gentlemen, according to Porsche, is
Cup Design
Cup Design '93
17" Carrera Wheel
and as Mr Moose said, Porsche never supplied any 17" 'Turbo' wheel. Here is their 18" one.

Hmmm - that's interesting. Just been checking out the prices of new tyres and when I enter the reg on various sites they state 16" wheels seemingly backing up that they're not original? I like them so will keep them but wonder what wheels it had originally? The car has upgraded GTS brakes so I wonder if bigger wheels had to be fitted?
Thanks for the positive comment on the looks! Not had it long and they'res plenty to do but it polished up nice

The wheel the OP posted comes in different widths too - Boxster rear ones are narrower than 996 rear ones for example. I'm not sure about the offsets.
The best site for genuine wheel info is usually this one:

I love the Rat-look you've given it - great plan.
I am half tempted to leave the outside like that, but given the interior is currently worse I think I will sort it all. First plan is to get it on a ramp and see how rotten it is, followed by getting it started. Oh did I forget to mention it got laid up 4 years ago with a stuck starter.
