As long as Mulder and Scully are the lead characters, I'm optimistic it could be good. The program massively lost it's way in later series, in particular when when Mulder and Scully became side characters and then eventually cameo appearances.

Well it's on her facebook page with the following caption: "Mulder, it's me. Are you ready?"

Hoping they go for stand alone episodes too. they were the best x files stories. the toombs guy, the werewolf / indian thing, the freak show etc. hated the last film though with billy conolly. and the stuff with the black oil etc. it lost its way.
the early days of x files were brilliant though. loved the episode with the black baseball player / Alien.

Luther Lee Boggs/Beyond the Sea episode was a good one - so much so that I recognised him (Brad Dourif) in the "Drinking from the Bottle" video.

Duchovny should play it as Hank Moody.

Just saw this elsewhere: click.
As 'they' seem to be unable to come up with anything new worth watching, I'm looking forward to this.

The Unnatural, from near the end of series six. I liked that one as well, and it was made by the final scene.

Heard her on the radio last week. Little or no trace of an American accent.

A definite stand out episode. it was something totally different and a brilliant idea perfectly wrapped up in one single show. the other episode i remember really enjoying was one involving a guy who kept saying Cerulean Blue and controlling people. so many good stand alone episodes. Gillian has aged very well too.

The standalone episodes were the best, in particular I enjoyed what they called "monster of the week" episodes. "The Host" and "Firewalker" were standouts for me.

The whole black oil / conspiracy st got far too heavy and dragged the show up it's own arse.

She looks nicer now than she did back in the day.

Okay, now I'm excited. Where have Scully and Mulder been all these years?
