The Ultima is an awesome car, I was looking for one to buy before I bought the 991 Turbo S....
I think your lotus based car and Turbo S more than makes up for that. If the 991 moves the game on from 997.2 then it's a truly awesome machine on the public road and track. I still can't get over the grip and performance on track for what most term as a grand tourer/cruiser.
Exactly and that was the point of my first post... Maybe I just need a big ass wing to fit in....nah

Hey big Al, how about doing a proper job ridding the trolls from the discussion instead of editing my posts, now that would be a job of even a slacker moderator could do ehh ?
rolleyes

So are you saying that I should have imposed you the normal 7 days forum break for breaching the sites swear filter? Perhaps I need to be a little less "slack" next time.
Maybe just respond to the reports of offensive posts by trolls first would be a proper start and then just be the nanny police if you feel the need. I assume we are all grown ups here and speak as adults face to face so why not get with reality or should wee all put on our flat caps and say pip pip cheerio instead...
Big Al if you feel the need to swing it go ahead no loss to me....

What does that prove?

The GT3 is meant to be a driver's car first and foremost; there's no need to get into which is the 'better' car as it entirely depends on your priorities.

However, it seems it won't stop The Ronin from trawling the internet looking for opportunities to say how great his cars are,

http://www.porkers.co.uk/topic.asp?p=1&f=48&am...

If your life is that unfulfilling that you need to brag uncontrollably on internet forums, perhaps you have proven the answer to happiness isn't cars.

I hope you find fulfillment eventually The Ronin. In the meantime, if this helps to make up for your feelings of inadequacy then, please, continue to keep talking about your little Turbo - i'm all ears smile
The only UK site I ever posted on about my Porsche is here on PistonHeads [Porkers.co.uk is part of the PistonHeads network] but if you want to "Troll" every thing I post it is you that is the troll little girl....
I'm not bragging about anything but if my cars are better than yours in your mind well then tough, deal with it or move on.... I think you are more than ears biggrin

The 991 Turbo kicks GT3 butt on UK track, just a fact jack..

A slow hell I guess..... Even more torque will soon be had from my 991 Turbo S while a GT3 gets nothing but hype.... biggrin

So, for you, its all about numbers? A pissing contest?

And you're a mature guy. Its a bit pathetic isnt it?
If you think so don't read or post on this tread, it's that easy.... Numbers are there to show that the GT3 is not all it's hyped up to be..facts is facts.
It's so funny to read the typical Porsche owner comments....

Come on now the GT3RS will not have any more torque that the current GT3 and just an additional 25 hp at peak rpm. Without extra torque for corner exit it's just another meh GT3.... There are no tuning options to increase engine performance, this makes it just another porker with new lipstick..

If ya don't like what I have to say don't read it.....

more the torque supplying the front wheels imo.
Now in the case of the 991 Turbo S it is all of the above..... To those that buy any car because of potential resale value, you are all posers laugh

I had my car for 3 weeks before a buddy pointed out to me that the key was shaped like a Porsche and that they can be painted to match the car... What poser bling this is...Good thing they don't have a ridged GT3 wing on them or you would never be able to get it out of your pocket..

Tossers putting their keys on the bar while ordering a drink as if someone cares what car you drive....Just like Lotus posers..

I assume you mean 'lovely'?!

Apparently he's renowned for trolling the forums and sharing his 'robust' opinions. I think Pistonheads is his current favourite haunt for this purpose!
Dude you are the troll here.
I don't troll forums I posted my Lotus build so that other Lotus owners that are not posers might want to take advantage of my R$D and save time and money doing modifications that work in the real world without getting ripped off.

I expressed my opinion on the GT3 vs my Turbo S in the real world but in no way am I trolling with painted keys and toy rotors hanging on them, that's for certain GT3 trolls to do...

Troll away sidicks in your poser mobile.... I wonder what seats, R spec tires and harness setup you have in your wanna be racer ?

The truth is I'm embarrassed to tell my buddies I own a Porsche since 99.99% of Porsche owners are just a bunch of fuccin slack jaw posers....
What a bunch of punts...... 4Q

Porschenut - thanks for sharing your experience and pleased to hear such positive feedback. No apology needed for the length of the post.
I am the very lucky owner of the Racing Yellow club sport appearing in LindsayMac's photos above. It's performance in all sorts of conditions never ceases to put a smile on my face. For me that's what these cars are all about, irrespective of a lot of the trolling rubbish that we all see written from time to time.
Maybe you'll join us for the next Highland adventure?
Trolling rubbish ? Dude you're just another guy that bought the Hype and feel the need to call other points of view trolling biggrin

It's funny that you were the one to take the bait.
Back to your canyon in your kit car!
I wish it were a "kit" car then I could have just bought it like you did with your GT3 but instead I designed and built it from the frame up and every nut and bolt torqued by me.biggrin
It would be fun to see you in your bought not built Porsche in a canyon or any track run against my built Rs211.... Hell my 991 Turbo S would stomp your GT3 in the canyons and on track....

The typical Porsche wk that can't face the fact that he bought the lesser car due to hype and so you resort to insults.....and can't even keep his car in his own lane... hehe
