Ken at Nine Excellence lied to me...
Discussion
As an aside I not once look at the speedo lol. Kept my eyes firmly on track as I didn't want to kill both me and my guest Chris! It was properly wet most of the day and whilst we had lots of run off area it took me three runs just to have the guts to brake at the brake board! Having said that and seen a few vids of other drivers they were braking far earlier than us in the end.

Mine was both on VBOX and just as we crossed the beams as far as I'm aware. Is there a discrepancy between VBOX and beams? We were consistently doing over 200 mph on VBOX all day long.
IM, you need to watch Apollo's video to see what I'm on about - the maniac keeps his foot down for a couple of seconds AFTER the beams, I was just asking if you were doing the same ?For Wales I'd defo get my car serviced and everything checked out by 9e before running. Having said that famous last words but pretty confident we should be okay as we aren't running lots of boost like other tuners. Only 1.3 bar in attack mode. I think its an air force base or something and we've already been warned if they have an exercise on configuration may change much to the relief of the GTRs lol

He just needs to get in touch with Joss (wasn't she lovely!?) or Craig. There's an event in may at Brunters I think and another in July at 5 mile Welsh runway. I think a few more engines may let go in Wales.
Can't be a runway can it, planes don't need 5 miles to take off - isn't it a beach ? If so, you really want to run your P&J on sand and near salty water ?TB993tt said:
I've no idea but I just googled world's longest runway and it said it was 3.42 miles long in China
It must be a beach/sands in which case a def no for me, can you imagine the traction problems (OK for jet thrust, not so good for driven wheels) and all that sand and salt getting into you car's oily bits
Edited to add, those are commercial runways by the looks of it, there are some pretty long military ones most in the US, the longest being 7.5 miles, but can't find owt in de Wales.
You're right its a military beach lol whatever that is. No chance M1 its is then. See you in ten mins lol! i think there is another v max event other than that though?
if you were interested, straightliners are still running the odd top speed day (both directions) on the main runway at Elvington, which is a far better surface than brunters and is flat, this summer? the top bikes will be doing 260mph.
i can find out dates if a few of you wanted to come up 'norf, its near York, and easy to get to.
Sure let me know dates details etc but may well be in Middle East. if you were interested, straightliners are still running the odd top speed day (both directions) on the main runway at Elvington, which is a far better surface than brunters and is flat, this summer? the top bikes will be doing 260mph.

Looks like next 'Top speed' event @ Elvington is 14th April, £150.if you were interested, straightliners are still running the odd top speed day (both directions) on the main runway at Elvington, which is a far better surface than brunters and is flat, this summer? the top bikes will be doing 260mph.

These guys run VMAX. http://www.autovivendi.com Sounds like the Yorkshire venue is better. I've seen the Hellcat 208 mph run - awesome - saw a few of them in Dubai recently!
Here are the Huracans launching. I go up against one of them. Will try and get better vids up as I get them.

Thx for posting graphs... this is obvioudly a 3rd to 4th dedicated 60-130 run... but looks like you may not have been full throttle in 3rd until just before 60mph.... I cant be sure but the trace looks like itIdeally you need to be starting 35-40mph so you are full boost by time you go thru 60... if you do this you should do much better than this 7.7s run, which 650hp should be able to provide
This gives you an idea of power to weight of Agrera and Noble http://fastestlaps.com/cars/koenigsegg_agera_s.htm...
