no idea Toby - will ask Ken when I pick her up but he's tinkering with wherefore a few weeks. Thinks he might be able to get up to 15% more power by refining the tune and making more changes to intake system so he can have her as long as he likes
15% Looks like the other 9e 28 managed 205 mph! Thats ridiculously quick for a car with so little modifications relatively speaking over 1.3 miles. Results indicate I still managed 200mph before I ruined my plugs. Its going to be tough to beat 205mph for me!

So she definitely didn't like the fuel. She's been flushed out and drained of all the VP Extreme which is an unleaded fuel with a MON rating of 110. MS109 which I normally use only has MON rating of 101 by way of comparison so car could't handle this. Car's running fine now but big faux pas. Lesson learned.
Tempted to ask 9e to pop down with mine to these guys.

Wow what a fantastic chassis dyno facility must be one of the best of its type in the world. Whilst the power/torque curves which these type of dynos produce are not as accurate as engine dyno (because an engine dyno brakes the engine for a number of seconds until the torque number stabilises every few hundred rpm) the corrected peak power numbers are pretty much spot on.http://www.litchfieldimports.co.uk/dyno/informatio...
On the Manthey Maha set up the maximum power on my stock GT2 was 542.5PS EWG80/1269 and a few days later it recorded 544PS DIN on the engine dyno.
What was quite unique about the Manthey session (and I have seen them doing this before as well as heard similar stories from others who were tested there) is that they really beast the car on the dyno prior to the power run, they take off the rear bumper and load it heavily for near 10 minutes before they attempt a power run, I don't think any other operators do this and it probably isn't in the Maha operators manual but I guess it gives a "real" result...... Always makes me giggle because I think of those 8 second unloaded power runs which some people swear by

Great to meet you and your family the other day, thanks for lunch... My treat next time.
Glad you like my car and i will look forward to us running together and seeing the real world difference between the 9e25 and 9e30.
Hi Matey, No comparison. You've got a very quick car there. The 9e 25 is good for a 23 sec 0-300kph. 9e 28 is about 26-27 secs. That 3-4 secs is a lifetime on a drag strip!Glad you like my car and i will look forward to us running together and seeing the real world difference between the 9e25 and 9e30.
If you do ever put her up for sale there will no doubt be a load of people on here interested in buying a 9e 25! £30k + VAT nowadays just for the 9e25 power kit nowadays so if someone wants a 996 turbo tiptronic with red hot chilli pepper give Bealo a shout - its silly quick.
